BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

Haven Kaycee It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film

Bliss Quest So many unnecessary characters and scenes in a film that runs out of steam before the finish-line. Also, it seems the director has a childish fascination with silly drone shots...Again unnecessary. This film was trying to make so many points that it ended-up making none. Watching this became tiresome after the first 15 minutes.

That Man Stunning landscapes, and dark secrets, combines into a chilling story, with believable roles. A taste of true detective, not only in the imagery, but also in the two policemen and their haunting demons, and the brutal horrid murders. -And do not fear.. When i say "True detective", i mean No 1

Lee Eisenberg Set in Spain's transition years from dictatorship to democracy, Alberto Rodríguez's thriller "La isla mínima" ("Marshland" in English) has a plot as murky as its location. It focuses on a pair of ideologically opposed detectives investigating murders of girls in an isolated town on the Guadalquivir Marshes. All sorts of intrigue abounds as the two try to find out what's going on.This is the first of Alberto Rodríguez's movies that I've seen, and I'm impressed. No high action or cheap shocks, just the mystery and political issues. The marshland itself, located not far from Seville, looks like brain tissue from above, but could serve as a metaphor for the gloomy world that the detectives inhabit. Not a masterpiece, but worth seeing.

A thin wire ties up every man, young or old, engaged in his main vocation: violence and exploitation of women, hopeless victims always portrayed as locked in cages: a home for a wife, a single-sex school for a female student, a guest-house for a inn-keeper, a boat for a fool.So women are captive, and men are the dogs overlooking them or the wolves preying on them, and even when men are supposed to seek for some justice in their behalf, they hide a past of violence, hatred and probably a prostate cancer.
