This movie like its creators sucks. The monster is dollar store predator. And who the hell has a chess board in a survival situation? Also why didn't it just kill him at night?

Definitely a cross between Bear Grylls and Predator, but you could probably make that conclusion from the synopsis alone. I was definitely into the movie until the CGI. There is a good chance that I would have been more satisfied with traditional effects like makeup, prosthetics, a mask, or just a guy in a suit.

I hate to get technical, but the people who decided on the camera angles did a great job. As far as being suspenseful goes, this film is as suspenseful as it needs to be. Considering what the film is about, it is surprisingly not that predictable.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this movie. The beginning was well acted, just like I would perceive, some kidding around, a big RV advertising the reality show, the trip into the woods. The sound track was very appropriate I felt, kind of a feeling of unease, yet real. Diamantopoulos, with the lead role, was great. Acting, for the most part, on his own, he did a masterful job of transitioning from a "reality show" actor, to a person knowing something was wrong, but not sure what. Then, finally, understanding what he was up against, his, and the world's, ultimate survival.
