Lookin' Italian Audience Reviews

BootDigest Such a frustrating disappointment
Micransix Crappy film
Ava-Grace Willis Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
gridoon2018 "Lookin' Italian" opens with nocturnal panoramic shots of New York, and then has a brief but decent shootout. After that, it is devoid of interest apart maybe from Matt LeBlanc's impressive biceps (he also has extended shirtless scenes). After this role, he wisely decided to steer clear of this kind of overwrought drama - his talents are elsewhere. The portrayal of Italian Mafia is so cliched that you could wrap it up in spaghetti. * out of 4.
s3582 I couldn't believe that time, energy, film, and money was actually wasted filming this insult to Italians all over the world. The acting was horrendous, the Italian stereotypes were borderline criminal, and the abusive/sexists attitude towards women was over-the top.I can't figure out the plot, but that is probably because there wasn't one. I can't figure out the entertainment value, but that is probably because there isn't any.As I watched it, I was tempted to turn it off at several junctures, however, I couldn't because it was like looking at an accident scene on the highway, I knew it was going to be bad, i just couldn't tell how bad!!!! One bright spot, I saw it for free on television, so it cost me nothing but 97 minutes of my life.
Michael-voorhees I bought this movie a couple of days ago in a three movie pack for $2.99. I quite enjoyed this film, But apparently this is Matt Leblanc's first film because he is credited as 'Introducing' him in the main titles at the beginning. What can I say about this film that hasn't been said, the acting is pretty bad, laughable shootout at the beginning. Jay Avocone is pretty good as Vinny the brother of Anthony( Matt Leblanc). Overall this film is pretty bad, but I quite enjoyed it. It's much better than Ed with Matt Leblanc which is a piece of crap. My friend thought it was pretty good too. I give it 4/10 my friend gave it 5/10.
superfurryocelot Very very bad. A list of bad things: - The story - The acting - The FilmThis film contains probably one of the worst efforts of acting that i have ever seen from Matt LeBlanc. I don't consider him to be a great actor anyway, but his performance in Lookin' Italian can only be described as generic. The story idea is nothing particularly inventive, a tale of discovery of ones origins and coming to terms with it. While this might work in a film with some cinematographic flair, Lookin' Italian fails to make it the least bit interesting. Couple this with the predictable plot "twists" and you end up with a film that quickly becomes a waste of precious electricity.
