Absolutely the worst movie.

As I walked out of the movie "Little Fockers", I thought to myself, "why do I feel depressed?" This is a sporadic experience when I'm finished seeing a comedy that I experience a bit of melancholy. Granted, there were some tidbits of comical moments and I will say it's a small step up to the very abysmal "Meet the Fockers", but still my thoughts remain cemented. For a holiday season movie, it sure was a downer. It shames me to say it, but I think, Robert De Niro has lost his edginess quite proportionately. At one time, I considered De Niro as one of the greatest performers of all time. He literally could do no wrong in the movies he's done. From Travis Bickle, to Jimmy the Gent, from Max Cady Jake LaMotta, he was the undisputed king of cinema. No as an elderly person he has lowered his standards to silly comedies and though that may advance his versatility as a performer, it has worn out its welcome quite rapidly. It's now become sad that he let himself become a shell of his former self. Here in this trilogy, De Niro's reputation has took a turn for the worst in a film where I feel embarrassed to see him let alone to he has become. Coming back as the controlling family patriarch Jack Byrnes this third time around, as we watch a legend fall victim to self-parody. Worst thing he embraces this moment as he also serves as one of the producers like in the other two instalments. In all its formulaic glory, the saga picks up five years after the events of "Meet the Fockers" as Gaylord "Greg" Focker (Ben Stiller) dealing with his wife Pam (Teri Polo given very little to do here) and his intimidating father-in-law, Jack. Returning to the cast was Pam's old flame Kevin (Owen Wilson who's not funny here), Jack's wife Dina (Blythe Danner) and Greg's parents Bernie (Dustin Hoffman who's only on sporadically) and Roz (Barbra Streisand who's just a glorified cameo). New to the franchise is a drug representative named Andi Garcia (Jessica Alba), who's convincing Greg into taking erectile medication called "Sustengo". The narrow plot emphasizes on the trust of Jack as he pushes Greg's nerves as he tests him to see if he has what it take to be the next "Godfocker", the new patriarch of the Byrnes and Fockers. But Jack depends on surveillance and spy-checks on Greg to see if he's worthy to take his place. Jack is upset believing that Greg has been too friendly with Andi which leads to an epic conflict between Jack and Greg.Taking over the direction from Jay Roach is Paul Weitz who does all he can to keep the humor in tack, but the endless laugh-fest is not to be. You choice of humour may vary, whether you like subtle dry humour or spontaneous laughter inclined moments are there, but it's few and far between. When the dust settles it's been bogged down to film that has an absurd plot and a lacking character development. What makes "Little Fockers" uninspiring is the constant reminder that Greg's last name is familiar to a certain cute little four letter word we use when we inflict angered conversations. We get it already! Alba is the token new addition here, but she's offered little but to be seductive (especially her underwear scene) and to have a chirpy characterization.I have little to say about this movie, because there's little to talk about. Sure it's innocent in details and could pass off for a guilty pleasure with familiar faces offering nothing new to the table. Sure there's sexual innuendos aplenty, its not threatening to older children who might find it amusing. Other than the other two sequels making a nice profit, this movie had no other reason to be made and that Universal can offer the ensemble a nice check for their efforts. It's a payoff to the cast and crew, but to viewers who paid to see an original twist to the franchise, this film was an unoriginal film with recycled jokes from its predecessors.

Little Fockers (2010): Dir: Paul Weitz / Cast: Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Owen Wilson, Jessica Alba, Teri Polo: The worst in this exhausted franchise. As with the first film, the title doesn't work. Despite the children having their fifth birthday, this film isn't about the little Fockers. It is the same stupid story that Meet the Parents is only worse. Ben Stiller as the male nurse is given samples of a Viagra drug and his father-in-law, played by Robert De Niro suspects foul play and investigates. Isn't this similar to the plot of the first film? Director Paul Weitz does his best and even gives us a fight scene within a pool of colored balls but this is not as good as earlier films such as American Dreamz and American Pie. Stiller is reciting and so is the health reduced De Niro in their back and forth war and lack of trust. Owen Wilson returns with a tattoo of Stiller's wife on his back. There are many celebrity cameos in this film that are a waste but none are as bad as that of Jessica Alba. She shows up at the hospital and presents Stiller with a Viagra substance then accompanies him in shoving some device up a patience ass. She is an embarrassment in this film and she does exactly as expected and that is throw herself at Stiller then she is last seen as this gitty innocent who had too much to drink. We know she is nice looking but this is ridiculous and quite stupid. Finally we have Teri Polo smiling pretty as Stiller's wife because the screenwriter could not find her something interesting to do. In the end this film should be buried in that big hole in Stiller's back yard that Alba foolishly tackles him into. Score: 2 / 10

This film was so bad! This makes Meet the Fockers look like Titanic! First of all, not a single scene or gag in this mediocre film was even slightly funny! The acting was pretty poor, and it was over stuffed with characters! I feel sorry for every actor that was involved in this poor excuse for a comedy or sequel. This was just very poorly thrown together! The filmmaker who made this monstrosity should be very embarrassed. That's really the best word for this film is embarrassment. I think everyone was very tired of the meet the parents movies after the 2nd entry, which was less successful. It tries to be funny, it really does, but OMG it falls flat every time! I did enjoy Barbara Streisand and Dustin Hoffman, as I did in the previous film. They work very well as an on screen married couple. There's just more of the old here, except it's much worse here. Seriously! Much worse! It's inappropriate for the kids, too stupid for the teens and adults, can't think of anyone this movie is for! Definitely not for the franchise fans, this movie just plain insults the franchise! 2/10 overall. Very poor and lazy 😕

Little Fockers is a prequel to the 2000 film Meet The Parents where Ben Stiller's Gaylord Focker tries to impress his father in law Robert De Niro's family as Niro doesn't like Stiller's charcther much and creates this circle of trust scenario. This time however and Gaylord is now a doting father to two beautiful children and they are trying to go to school. Gaylord has this new job now and his secretary(played by Jessica Alba)is kinda dotting after him and when Jack finds a photo of him having a night out with her he goes demented. I didn't catch the beginning of it last night as I was watching another movie but there was a few funny scenes in it like one where Jack's privates rises up and Gaylord has to stick an injection to help stop his privates from rising up.Overall check it out if you are a fan of Ben Stiller like me and you saw the first two films. Keep an eye out for Singer Barbra Streisand and Dustin Hoffman as they reprise their roles as Stiller's parents.
