Organ transplantation to children is illegal in Russia. And what if it's the only way to save a child's life? Little Linar is patiently waiting for his trip to Italy to have a new heart transplanted. And a strange thing happens- the boy grows up in close relationship with doctors and nurses, learning Italian on the way, and the people around him come together to help and become warmer, heartier, livelier. This may seem a clumsy metaphor coming from me - the director did much better. The film is perfectly constructed compliant with all drama laws and at some point it might seem you are watching a feature film - so many details and artistic devices like the light at the end of the hospital corridor, jumping cardio gram, life saving equipment letting off alarm signals. But no, not too many, and it's not even the director's artistry, it's...hey, who is it up there who thinks up our lives and decorates our life interiors?
