MartinHafer I watched this film at the Doorpost Film Project's web site and the film is one of this year's finalists. For the most part, I really liked it. Of all the films I have watched there so far, this one has the best cinematics--and as a result is about the most professional looking films. The combination of emotive music, nice camera-work and direction make this film really come to life. My problem with the film, however, is the story. While I don't want to reveal too much, I just found it very, very hard to believe that a Confederate soldier would do what this one did in the film. Still, if you can look past this, it's a dandy and very striking film--one well worth seeing. I can't wait to see more work from the people that made this one.
