hyped garbage
Doomtomylo
a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

Feeling sorry for an old hitchhiker who seems to be struggling in the pouring rain, a young woman decides to pick up the old lady after having just heard on the news that a woman had been found dead. She soon gets the creeps about the old lady and tries to get her out of the car by pretending that she has a flat tyre and then speeds away. The events that take place in the next 8 minutes or so will have you gripped to the edge of your seat with an ending that will leave you shocked! Superb acting and cast done it justice!

Excellent "mini" movie with magnificent acting and wonderful cinematography. A woman driving home in the rain learns from the radio that a woman was found dead. She spots an elder, weak-looking woman carrying a large bag and she lets the woman have a ride only because she felt sorry for her and it was raining. The old woman scared her in the car so she faked a flat tire to distract her so she could leave her behind, later noticing she left the large bag in her car. The woman goes to the police to hand the old woman's possessions over to them and discover strange effects inside. A daunting and chilling ending will surely surprise everyone watching this remarkable short film.A Five Star Story!

A short does not have a lot of time to make its point. I don't think they did. It was a bit eerie, but it lacked convincing fear or fear development. Also just reminded me a lot of an old Twilight Zone teaser. Maybe another viewing will change my opinion...

LEFT TURN is a dark and disturbing short film which manages to supply a large amount of suspense within it's short running time(15 minutes). Lucy Russell (The Lady and the Duke) plays Julie, who driving home on a dark and rainy night picks up an old woman who appears to be in trouble. Julie starts to have second thoughts about her good deed when something starts to feel very wrong about her hitch hiker. In the style of "Don't Look Now" this scary short film has great performances along with slick looking sequences filled with tension.
