'The world is made of floors. Floors are connected by stairs and made of rooms. Rooms are connected by corridors. And all the floors form the World...' Such is the theory developed by Toto, the siamese head of a child whose mother has locked away in a family manor, where he has been walled-in since his birth. Between endless corridor exploration, private schooling and fatherly Mausoleum visits, the brothers never questioned the limits of their world. Until one day, when, obsessed by a strange light, seen by accident, they decide to find the its end.

Last Door South Audience Reviews

Ceticultsot Beautiful, moving film.
AutCuddly Great movie! If you want to be entertained and have a few good laughs, see this movie. The music is also very good,
KnotStronger This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
Geraldine The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
sesht One of the more poignant entries in this year's myFrenchfilmfestival.com, this is about a boy and his inseparable friend, who has a knack for getting him outta trouble when it strikes. Their friendship is the most innocent part of the film, along with the main lead's own observations on the world around him. Something important happens when they explore, and it leads to, a kind of, coming of age of sorts.Loved the animation style, that called to mind Tim Burton's 'Corpse bride' and 'Coraline', 2 movies that should get more mainstream play. Not sure if this qualifies as one where we can keep following the main leads in a full feature, but this is self-sustained enough to warrant a viewing.
