Excellent but underrated film

Beautiful, moving film.

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

Killer Nerd from writer/director Mark Steven Bosko is another Troma classic. A totally campy horror movie that I loved. A harassed nerd takes a video self-help course to be cool. When nerd Harold Kunkle played perfectly by Toby Radloff gets pushed one time too many he goes over the edge going on a killing spree. It was cheesy violence that was comical in a sense because it was so bad it was good.Glad I came across this 90's horror comedy on eBay. It was recommended by a friend that said I had to see it. Glad I did. My wife thought it was childish. I thought it was great. Sorry to see Mr. Bokso hasn't made a movie in some time. Come back. You have fans.

I write this without even looking at previous comments, save the latest one available-Fellating the movie. 1-There is no gore for an HOUR. I have to sit here and listen to this guy talk for an hour and whine about how he can't get anyone before I get to see anything! and what's this? I don't really see anything anyway! Almost NO gore, this is a horror film, dammit!2-The film seems far too amateur, I probably shouldn't complain about this so much but it really lacks charm when the film looks like crap.3-The side characters are extremely boring, The only one I thought was okay was the dick co-worker, just because his character was so exaggerated.Avoid this movie, I wish I would've 1/10

Killer Nerd (1991) is an fun film that portrays the exploits of Harold Kunkle. Harold is your stereotypical nerd who just wants to fit in. But his unique behavior and dress makes him a social outcast in his community. No matter what he does or how hard he tries he just can't fit in. One day Harold has enough of the ribbing and beatings and decides to strike back.Toby Radloff stars as Harold Kunkle. He's perfect as the Killer Nerd. What keeps this movie from being better than average is the pacing of the film. It feels very padded out. I can deal with the tiny budget and the fact it was shot on video but they need to tighten this film. I guess they felt that they needed to make it at least 90 minutes. I can live with it being shorn of the padded scenes and what not (it's sequel is a much better film and it clocks in well under 80 minutes). I totally disagree with this film being the worse ever made. Watch Spine.Recommended."NERD, NERD, NERD, NERD!!!

this movie sucks worse than a bad hummer. Despite the hilarious murders in the end this is literally the worst movie i've ever seen. Hell, i've seen other cheesy horror flicks likke troll 2 and The Beast Within but this one is unwatchable. Maybe if they didn't spend literally almost 15 minutes watching harold dance, 2 minutes watching him just walk in the street, about 8 minutes watching him and that girl he likes talk about jack s**t( and also w/ his mother), and also concentrating on a mailbox for god knows how long, this movie would actually bring amusement. Its boring as hell. I love the cheesy effects and bad acting but i wasted an hour and a half watching harold sit on his ass, dance, walk around, and get picked on. And what the hell was w/ that naked chick who had absolutely nothing to do w/ the film??????? i like naked chicks but they coulda got someone way hotter than her.
