As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
Eric Stevenson
I was interested in watching this movie because I heard it was the worst Frankenstein movie ever made. I haven't really seen THAT many Frankenstein movies, but this is certainly the worst. This made me sad with how Team Rocket weren't in this. They're probably more recognizable than the actual Jesse James nowadays. The weirdest thing is that Frankenstein's (the scientist) daughter doesn't even appear in this. She's referred to as his granddaughter. She's here with her brother, Rudolf. I really don't know why Rudolf looks twenty years older than her. Then again, the Frankenstein family probably did do some weird things sexual wise. This movie mostly suffers from being really boring.I guess the leading actor is giving it all he's got. He can't save this pointless movie. Maria Frankenstein claims that her brother has been poisoning the people they experimented on. What? He was supposed to be the ethical of the two. So he's just going around killing people? It's mentioned that they killed three children. He'd rather do that than see his sister's experiments come alive? There's a subplot at the beginning with a gang known was the Wild Bunch which is mostly pointless and adds nothing to the film. The voices are pretty annoying in this too. Neither Victor Frankenstein nor Frankenstein's monster appear in this, so it's pretty worthless. The experiment is referred to as "Igor" even though that wasn't the name of Frankenstein's Monster and it is a completely different character. *1/2

This movie is so underrated. It not a 2.9. There are not a lot of movies scarier then The Exorcist. And this is one of them. This is an underrated horror classic. It is a sequel to Frankenstein and It is great. This is one of the scariest movies of all time. This movie has a great story line. It also has great acting. It also has great special effects. Do not lesson to people who hate this movie it is a true horror classic. This movie is a must see. If this movie does not scary you no movie will. John Lupton was a great actor. This movie better then Frankenstein (1931). And that is not easy to do. Frankenstein (1931) is very scary. And this is scarier. The is a great movie.

This shallow concept movie isn't really worth the time and energy required to watch it. I actually felt cheated; the title suggests the film might be hilariously bad. Unfortunately for me, there wasn't much in the way of hilarity about it! There are some truly awful performances - John Lupton as Jesse James may look the part, but the character is written as a hero and his portrayal is as bland as can be. Similarly, Narda Onyx appears to have been cast based solely on her looks and not her acting skills; she appears to struggle with the simplest of scenes. I am aware that by this point, William Beaudine was a veteran director. However, it is difficult to tell whether he was attempting something earnest here or some cynical lampooning of Hollywood. Either way, his finished work is an abject failure as a medium of any kind of entertainment. It is also difficult to tell who exactly this movie is aimed at. It doesn't appear to offer anything credible for fans of either Westerns or Horrors. I am surprised this movie actually made it to DVD in the first place. Someone, somewhere clearly loves this movie enough to justify it. That, I am afraid, is not this unhappy viewer.

I was looking for zombie films and came across this. I couldn't resist the title. A film from a director that gave us such classics as Billy the Kid versus Dracula and Bela Lugosi Meets a Brooklyn Gorilla. I can't wait to see those. The sound on my copy was terrible. Lips moved out of conjunction with words, and sometimes it sounded as if a woman was speaking when it was a man. When the sound got better, it was out of sync with the picture by several minutes. Terrible, but I suffered through it for art's sake.Jesse's (John Lupton) friend (Cal Bolder) gets shot and he is searching for a doctor, while running from the Marshall (Jim Davis). Guess who he finds? What it's the granddaughter of Dr. Frankenstein (Narda Onyx). Also stars Cuban-born spitfire Estelita Rodriguez as Juanita. She dies mysteriously a month before the film was released. She and Maria Frankenstein are both after Jesse's affections. After sending Jesse on a wild goose chase, Maria kills his friend and turns him into Igor (the zombie part).A sad ending for a truly horribly funny picture.
