True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.

Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.

I mean, it has good quotes, it is kinda funny, and a bit moving. But the story is at the edge of cheesyness and makes often no sense. The whole story is so unreal

Be it in sport or carrier. The story of an individual's success after a s*** load of odds is always something that we can connect to in one way or another. I tried to watch this movie in one piece but could never sit through this. It just tests our patience and our intelligence. Like the scene where Jerry realizes and says "he hated his place in the world" coz of what he had become "another shark in a suit". The scene that made him realize that and the montages that follow through after that lacks even the slightest emotion so one can connect to his change over to what he really wants to be. That's when the titles roll. That's what you get from the rest of the movie. Its like somebody pushing down savor-less food down your throat. The only relief was Jonathan Lipnicki. Not many may like him but he actually comes as a breather in a the film that lacks emotions. Except for a few passable moments the film feels like it hangs on your back like a load of logs.

This film spoke to me in so many ways. It was almost as if "Jerry Maguire" had been written with me in mind. From Jerry's epiphany at the start of the story through his struggle and eventual triumph over his fear of intimacy, it all seemed to be drawn from my experiences. These are the things that concern me every day. Tom Cruise was amazing. He showed perfect acting the whole time. It is perhaps, the finest work so far in his career. You could see every flicker of doubt and insincerity cross his face. I was laughing out loud, then crying and then so tightly happy that I forgot to breath. All of the other cast members seemed perfect as well. I particularly liked the doubting, divorced but totally caring sister Laurel. And let's not forget Dorothy's son Ray, what a little charmer. The person that stole the show for me was Cuba Gooding Jr. Every scene he was in made me laugh. This was the first movie I had seen him in and thought he was a terrific actor, deserved of the Oscar he won for Best Supporting Actor. The "Show Me The Money" scene will have you in stitches. His character changes the life of Jerry Maguire in the film and does it with such of enthusiasm that you can just admire Rod Tidwells life, where every piece is in the right order. The beautiful cinematography, editing and music makes the strong story and characters to look good. Yes I agree that it's very emotional, touchy and sweet, but why should we deny that we need that sometimes.Overall rating: 8 out of 10.

Just a great comedy in general. Cuba being a real quan along side Cruise, the ambassador. Some very funny scenes with plenty of different jokes around. And of course it sends out a message, don't give up on your dreams. Don't be afraid to try and be real to the ones you love, and yourself. Create a connection. Has some great scenes as well, with impressing acting from cast. Goes in a funny tone and gets more emotional as it goes. 9/10 for little Lipnickis scenes 8/10 for Cubas scenes 7/10 comedy scenes 7/10 romance scenes 7/10 for quotes 6/10 for lack of music.watchable
