Great Film overall

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

Kudos to the director for he take the risk not many will to do, for sure not in any other north Indian Industry willing to take. The movie has every other south Indian masala minus the action.
Coming about the part what makes me dislike the misadventure, What level of fool would you be to spend the money printed in 2015 in the year where you don't have the level of printing technologies like now ? It's like two 12 year olds are playing with a machine which can interpolate the whole universe. Okay there are some clever interpretations about time travel, but all the complexities of time travel, and the time paradoxes clearly ignored.
The movie is a south Indian vision about how HG wells's story "Time Machine" will be. The story is still original as there are only few things taken from the real one.
Overall, I'd suggest to ignore this if you are a cult Sci-Fi fan, otherwise it's a good watch. Hope I clear the mist why I rated it 5/10.

A brilliantly made time travel sci-fi film in Tamil. The most incredible part of the film is the amount of attention to detail, the makers have given. It deserves much, much more praise than it currently has. The visual effects, though minimal, are beautiful eye candy. I'd say they are at par, if not better than the effects in Enthiran. Several sub-plots of the film pay homage to Hollywood time travel films. The film would do good to become a cult in Tamil cinema. It should serve as an inspiration to upcoming directors. A well done film amidst other monotonous films currently being released in the Tamil film industry. Hopefully, other well established directors such as Shankar would take a note to establish better stories in his films from this one. Just incredibly brilliant! We'd like more films like this! Kudos, R. Ravi Kumar!

Hands down one of the best science fiction movies to ever be made in Tamil. Feasible or not, time travel is a complex concept. It usually isn't something that can be brought to the masses with ease. Yet this movie does just that. It doesn't complicate things to a point where it alienates the general public, neither does it insult the intelligence of the more knowledgeable minority. The comedy by Karunakaran was top notch, as usual. Vishnu has done comedies in the past, like Bale Pandiya. His experience shows as he takes the back seat in the comedy segments of this movie, and supports Karunakaran's comedic timing well.A good movie should be one that grips the viewer till the end, and this movie did just that to me. I really, really enjoyed this film, and would highly recommend it.

I think this is the best Tamil movie I've seen in recent times. There was no stupidity that is usually associated with Tamil Sci-Fi movies. The plot is just mind boggling and ends in an awesome manner.I've seen a lot of Tamil movies with happy ending, but the happy ending would be so obvious. But this is the only movie where the happy ending makes sense. Also credit really goes to the crew as well. The actors are great and poised, Direction and comedy sense are perfect and no extra use of Tamil songs. Background score though not out of the world, suits the film.Overall, this ranks among the best Tamil films I've seen in my life.
