All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

Absolutely well directed and edited short. It captured the feeling of NYC during the hurricane that put half of Manhattan into a power outage. I It was funny and the pacing was quick. Also a cameo or two from some well known character actors currently on a certain internet series. Highly recommended! The characters are easily recognizable. They are classic new york apartment dwellers. The story itself felt very modern and true to the life most new yorkers experience. I thought the romance was believable and you really felt a connection between the characters. I could see this short being expanded into a feature film. Just tiny vignettes of NYC life!

This movie is fantastic! An easy 11 out of 10.A fast-paced romp full of fun and color... Excellent directing and acting by the supremely talented star of the show, Bettina Bilger. Her humor and talents as an actor/director are strikingly apparent and one can't help but marvel at her ability to craft such a hilarious yet genuine and compelling storyline in the fifteen minute run-time. On several occasions I felt acute pain from laughing too hard... possibly my only complaint about the film. Can't wait to see what's next. An outstanding film that will leave you grinning from ear to ear.

In The Dark is a clever comedy that holds your attention from start to finish. We've all been there---it starts with an attraction in a new relationship and soon the roller coaster ride begins. Through the ups and downs of New York life (or life in any metropolitan city) the journey begins. An entertaining love story with the talented cast and crew bringing us fresh, fun entertainment. The talented Todd Litzinger, Kelly Tuohy and of course Bettina Bilger bring this modern comedy to light. An enjoyable short film worthy of recognition. It brought flashbacks if my own experiences making the film very relatable but yet, it still held the element of surprise. I highly recommend this film for a good humorous time. The clever writing of Bettina Bilger along with all the lovely and talented cast make for a good time.

This is a really fun short by first time director Bettina Bilger. The film uses unique locations and scenery to give the authentic feel of New York without using the iconic yet overplayed locations we usually see in NYC based films. The story partially takes place during a massive storm but the real whirlwind happens inside the building. The story centers around Melissa, played by Bettina Bilger, as she maneuver's her way through different relationships with her supportive friends, one of who is the vivacious, Kelly Tuohy . Bettina's comedic timing was spot on without being exhausting. A crazy neighbor and his mother, played by a convincingly creepy Paul Krasner, is the perfect juxtaposition to the very charming Mark, played by Randall McFadden both who keep Bilger, darting in and out of the apartment. Highly recommend if it's showing near you.
