This is America, this is Biker Culture.A must see!!!Never have I seen a documentary that feels as much as a movie and gives an insight into the real world of biker culture.Through the eyes and music of The Fryed Brothers Band, I RIDE will take you on an illuminating road trip through the biker world: bare knuckle fights you actually sign up for, wild bar-b-ques and camp outs, and partying raw and rowdy at some of the biggest hard core biker festivals. First of all, I must say I am not into the Biker culture, their music and movies but I stumbled upon an interesting article in LA Weekly, so I became interested and ended up watching this movie directly from their website waterbuffalopics dot com They are using their own VOD platform that was very easy to use, log in, watch & pick up watching for another 3 days... The link is on their website.It was fun & wroth checking out:You'll find the article online when searching for "I Ride & LA Weekly".Here a part of it:"So how did the screening go? "Everybody loved it," he says. "This movie will make you laugh a lot and it'll make you cry at the end. I had to leave just so I didn't cry." Uh, what about the movie made you cry? "It's just -- you just have to watch it," he said. "It's sad." Part of the movie is about Harry and Tommy's brother Mark, who was killed on his motorcycle more than three decades ago. The film ends at his funeral. According to The Fryed Brothers Band website, the band was started in 1980 as a tribute to Mark, who wrote the movie's title song "I Ride."For me it was an interesting adventure into a genre that I haven't watched before and a culture that is hardly portrait in film, lately more on TV via Sons of Anarchy.But I Ride is the real deal & shows the read players in their Game! I recommend everyone to watch it, even if you're not into the Biker culture.
