Kirpianuscus first, it a seductive meet with a special couple - Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor. than, it is a story between eccentric and touching. because it is a love story. sure, unconventional. but not real different by the many other who defines powerful feelings using dark humor, crazy situations, a true story with big emotional impact. and all them does the film a surprise for the viewer looking for familiar scenes/message and expecting the clue of a film who has the important virtue to use the right actors for a bitter story about happiness.

Charlotte8171 One word: AMAZING. A tear jerking film that was totally worth watching, I saw it once but wasn't watching it seriously so I had to watch it again (cried both times though!). I thought it was weird at first seeing Jim Carrey play a gay man with Ewan McGregor but you come to realise that the film is just about pure love, persistence, and connection between two people. This is the first film I've seen where it actually made sense and worked SO WELL it kind of surprised me how into it I got. I could genuinely understand their relationship in a very weird but wonderful way. The intelligence and wit of Jim's very complex but pure at heart character is truly something to behold, conning his way through jobs in amazingly crafty ways along with the very soft, quiet, and lovable character Ewan plays is crafted in a way that I can't put into words; it just worked so well. Although the two characters are polar opposites, they work so harmoniously together. If you want a film that isn't just your 'stereotypical hot gay gays' film and is funny, sad, and exciting then it is perfect; a must watch, I wish the film went on longer. Amazing as well to realise that this was actually based on real life. Perfect film.

Finfrosk86 This movie is so.. Gay! Kidding! Well, it is, but you know..I really enjoyed this movie. Jim Carrey is great. He once again shows that he can act. He can act indeed. Ewan McGregor does a good job too.I am no big advocate for gay rights or anything, and I am not gay, so I don't have any "ulterior motive" with liking this movie. But equal rights should of course be a given, no matter what your sexuality, gender, whatever is.What I'm trying to say is that this movie is good. And it's not just good for people who are interested in, uhm, gay stuff.I Love You Phillip Morris is not like every other movie out there, either. It is a little bit of an original story. It's really fun to see Stephen Russells endeavors.
