Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!

I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.

The acting in this movie is really good.

This movie is pure, full of power of love, a heartbreaker story with dad and his son.
I enjoyed watching it with my every single tear, honestly it approached a deep length in my heart and let me feel there're still more time to forgive, to change and to love.
The movie in general was too short I didn't feel the time passed, the actors were fantastic. It's kind of movies you can watch alone and got ideas and you can watch it with others and got more ideas about life.
The musics are amazing and
the only thing I didn't like is the dad character I was expected the very very monster human ever
! yeah he's bad but not as bad as I thought. personally I experienced the same thing Bart did. Finally, I hope all kids who are suffering from abuse got their help in life.

My annoyance of this film to me is the opening section of the main character as a kid. The child gives a cringe worthy performance especially during scenes with the dad. He doesn't show any sense of emotion in these scenes and just seems bored. Most of the performances are pretty TV movie like. I also found a lot of editing problems with this movie. One part in particular was edited very fast and just looked sloppy. The cinematography was pretty weak also. The feew things I did like about this movie was Dennis Quaid's performance and the chemistry between him and the son near the end of the film.

This was a very good put together Christian movie. Anyone who gives this movie less than 7 stars is only doing so to try to disrespect the movie. The cast and story was outstanding! Great job!

Well made and compelling, with some sag now and then and an intrusive, overbearing score, this is a moving story about forgiveness and the crazy music business. However, it's not about Jesus Christ or the Gospel. Our Savior is barely (if at all) mentioned. The SOURCE of all forgiveness, His death for all sin and resurrection-the GOOD NEWS!- is never presented. Some characters even attribute the song "I Can Only Imagine", to changing their lives--not Jesus Christ! The abusive father's life change apparently came through listening to a magic radio. Then there is the absurd glorification of worldly success. This is a nice religious movie for a comfortable church goer about a magic song that can magically change lives.
