Too much of everything

I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.
Ella-May O'Brien
Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

humanity's's end 2009 is a a pure spoof film from start to finish its a joke on all the science fiction films ever made.the story:last man on the earth is chased by Nephlilim.the cast:except the babes in this film there is no one watchable and a guy who looks like George colony.its got some nice cgi and space action scenes but the story, dialogs and direction is so hilarious that you cant help but burst out laughing, includes sex jokes every five minutes.overall if this is what cinema is coming to i am afraid humanity's end is near.my rating is 3/10

I'm going to give this film high ratings for being more ambitious than the film had the budget for. It was hurried and skipped around too fast - this COULD have been a Babylon 5 type series where you ignore the okay special effects for character, story, and plot. The character acting was forced (the women were all better than the men), but the plot was actually creative and warranted more of a short series than a film. Back story was good and creative as well. Despite this obviously being a low budget film, something makes you want to like this... and I also wonder if they searched for a male lead who sounds like Han Solo. The voice sound actually contributed to a lot of the acceptance of that character... but without the class.

I like sci-fi. I also like trashy sci-fi as long as there is some redeeming qualities. But I don't like trash and unfortunately that is all I can call this movie. I actually enjoyed Battlefield Earth a lot more than this and I rarely regret having watched something, even when it's that bad. It boggles the mind how they could screw it up this much, since the background story is not that bad, post-human races behaving like alien invaders, I like that. Special effects are OK, and the locations, costumes, and make-up are also decent. I'm even willing to believe the actors could come off better. It's just a terrible, terrible script, where the characters are constantly sitting around discussing tedious personal (mushy) subjects while the genocide of the human race is supposedly going on. And the fact that the main character is Han Solo like Don Johnson would have portrayed him does not help at all. This could have been in Serenity-range, instead it's making Battlefield Earth look good. This is what Uwe Boll would make if someone (god forbid) got him to do a sci-fi movie. This is Mortal Kombat 2 bad.

Considering it's budget I didn't think it was that bad, don't get me wrong, it's not going to win any awards and a lot of people will think it's terrible I expect but it reminded me of all those old movies that tried to cash in on the tail of Star Wars when it first came out like Battle Beyond the Stars.Perhaps I'm just a sucker for female voiced computers from Nell in BBTS, to Majel Barrett Roddenberry (RIP) voice in Star Trek and now Blue. The plot was fairly basic, the script was weak and the acting was up and down but overall I still enjoyed it enough to not fall asleep.
