Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

Review Date 2/18/2018 PLEASE BEWARE OF SOME REVIEWERS THAT ONLY HAVE ONLY ONE REVIEW. I HAVE OVER 400 REVIEWS OF "CHRISTMAS RELATED FILMS & SPECIALS" WHEN ITS A POSITIVE THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THEY WERE INVOLVED WITH THE PRODUCTION. NOW I HAVE NO AGENDA! I REVIEW MOVIES & SPECIALS AS A WAY TO KEEP TRACK OF WHAT I HAVE SEEN! I HAVE DISCOVERED MANY GEMS IN MY QUEST TO SEE AS MANY " C H R I S T M A S " MOVIES AS I CAN.Some movies go on way too long. Tv-Movies often get ruined because they are cut to fit a time period. They are padded out but this is not the case. this film runs a little over one hour and not a moment seems too forced. In this film a sullen teen named Mackenzie is an angst-ridden 15 year old girl (Abby Corrigan) whose mother died during childbirth. Mackenzie and her father Ash (David Garrett), are spending Christmas in a South Georgia town of McClellan to visit his sister Sally (Mandi Christine Kerr) for the first time since Mackenzie was little.Mackenzie however rather spend time with her friends but these 3 days will be her best memories she will ever have.Do not miss this

Never heard of this. In this film it is the gift of "Christmas" and the spirit of the season that helps propel a small child into convincing the most sullen teen that Christmas is fun no matter what.
