Guinea Pig Part 3: He Never Dies Audience Reviews

Solemplex To me, this movie is perfection.
Actuakers One of my all time favorites.
Salubfoto It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.
Loui Blair It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
Horst in Translation ([email protected]) This is the third "Guinea Pig" movie and if you read this review, you have probably already seen the first two films. Still, this one is a bit different. There is no real sexual component in there. In films 1 and 2, the protagonists were aroused for what they did to helpless girls and so were some people watching these perhaps. However, it's finally about equality here. A man tries to commit suicide after his girlfriend left him for another man. However, it's not working out as he realizes he is immortal. So what does he do. He invites the guy who took his girl from him and gives him the shock of a lifetime when he starts ripping out his organs with the other guy watching. This may sound pretty cruel, but there is definitely a comedic aspect to this movie, something the first two films also lacked. If that is a good thing, you have to decide for yourself. There was something unique though to the ending when he only has his head left for him and everything was torn apart and he was still laughing and going completely nuts. This film really does not have any great production values, but it could turn out as a guilty pleasure. It was made almost 30 years ago already and runs for roughly 40 minutes. The only somewhat interesting factor that was not comedy was for me the question of guilt in this one. Is the main character guilty of anything? He actually did try to commit suicide so he won't cause any harm to others. But he was not allowed to. Does that make him guilty of what he does to the other man. Then there is of course the argument of insanity and the mitigating factors that the other guy took his girl from him and that he also committed fraud at the office where he works. In any case, this should not be taken as a serious drama. the only way to somewhat enjoy it is as a comedy slasher film. There is certainly something ironic to the ending with the talking head lying around and all the girl can think of is how she has to clean the place from all the blood and guts. Neither the lead actor nor the director of this film have worked on many other projects in the past and maybe that's a good thing. All in all, it's not a good movie and I cannot recommend it.
trashgang What a flow those flicks have in the Guinea Pig franchise. This one is purely made for the fun of it but for me it wasn't funny at all. If you watch the end credits then you can see that they really had a big time making this and I must say that the effects really looked great and are almost the real thing but the story itself was a bit terrible. One man is so depressed and bored that he cuts himself with a razor. Thinking by slashing his wrist he is going to die suddenly he notices that he doesn't feel any pain at all and the bleeding do stops. Next try, a pencil being pulled through his arm and still no pain. Time for revenge. He asks a friend of him to come over who is now with his ex girlfriend. Once the friend comes over to the apartment the gore comes in. It's harakiri time and it's all well done but at the end of the day it's a big farce for me. The funny moments added just didn't work out for me. It do contains some gory moments and a tittie shot but overall I found it a bit lame.Gore 2/5 Nudity 0,5/5 Effects 4/5 Story 2/5 Comedy 0,5/5
CMRKeyboadist It was just a few days ago that I got the "Guinea Pig" box set, so naturally I have been watching ever film in the series. The first 2 films were rather good then I get to this one. Where the hell did this one come from? The story opens up with an American talking about the upcoming story being true and how it could possibly happen to you. The story starts with a man who is depressed and isn't getting any respect at work. After staying in his apartment for 4 days in a row, he decides to kill himself. He proceeds to slit his wrists in a gross manner. For some unknown reason this does not kill him so he starts mutilating himself in all sorts of ways. That is the story. It sounds like it would be cool but it is pulled off in a rather dull comedic manner. I don't think I laughed a single time. But this was just me. It doesn't mean that most people wouldn't find it funny. The gore was always welcome but, for my tastes, it wasn't gory enough (except the wrist scene). Listen for music from the Italian horror film "Demons" when he is slicing his belly open. I thought that was the only humorous part in the whole movie. 6/10
Cowman This absolutely hilarious (seriously!) gore flick documents the life of a bored businessman who just broke up with his sexy girlfriend. One evening in a fit of restlessness and depression he slits his wrists, only to find himself healthy again within minutes. He soon discovers that he will never die no matter what kind of mutilation and desecration he inflicts upon himself. Knowing this, our hero exacts revenge on his ex's new beau by grossing the poor guy out, making him witness all kinds of disgusting self-abuse, including having internal organs thrown at him. The gore is unbelievably realistic and stomach-churning, but at the same time it's so extreme and over-the-top that you know it's supposed to be humorous as well as repulsive. Definitely the funniest entry in the GUINEA PIG series. Also, be sure to stick around for the credits.
