Afouotos
Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
Dirtylogy
It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
Ginger
Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
Candida
It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
The Couchpotatoes
This was the third show I watched from Greg Davies. First I saw You Magnificent Beast (2018) and then Firing Cheeseballs At A Dog (2011), and so now The Back Of My Mum's Head (2013). This one was my least favorite one. Not that it is not funny because there are some funny moments in it but to me You Magnificent Beast was his best. Maybe because by then he got it more under control to make an audience laugh. In this show sometimes it feels too forced, you're almost waiting for a laughing tape. It's just the fact that Greg Davies sometimes starts fake laughing about a joke he's going to tell and that is a bit annoying. I like to decide myself if I want to laugh or not. But the show is okay to watch, with good interaction with the audience, and some good jokes.
