Absolutely Brilliant!
Plustown
A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
Bumpy Chip
It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

Actors: Vivica A. Fox, Bill Bellamy, Carmen Electra, Stacey Dash.Welcome to the new players club where everyone's in on the game! Vivica A. Fox, Carmen Electra, and Stacy Dash star as three smart and sexy friends fed up with being played by the men in their lives. To prove that all men are predictable and easily seduced, this hot trio decides to play by a new set of rules. They enter into a wild contest of seduction to convince one lucky man that he's living a dream... but what the girls don't realize is that their mark is in onto their game and he's got a few plays of his own.The three ladies were very good with solid performances all around. The story is a bit unbelievable but the director makes it all work. As to exactly what you will see, I'm not going to give that away but this is an entertaining movie with a few surprises. Surprise Vivica takes most of it off and so does Carmen but I really liked the character played by Stacey. Too aggressive can be misinterpreted in a woman and the "B" word often slips out. Obviously this is a love story where true love wins out overall but I'm not happy with the sterotype that all hetero males are ready to jump any attractive woman that comes along but bellamy does a good job playing and getting played to his own harm and near loss of a good thing in Ms Dash. Also cameos by comedians "Earthquake" and Tachina Arnold from the old "Martin" sitcom "Martin Lawrence" were very funny.danceability-1 Amsterdam Holland

I feel like I may have wasted 84 min of my life. The acting in this movie was so bad. AND THE DIRECTING!!! OMG!! Why do I need to watch people talk from sun up to sun down. I felt like slitting my wrist! If you are contemplating watching this movie....SAVE YOURSELF!! And why is Carmen Electra in this movie? Why is she in any movie? Did this movie go straight to DVD? Okay, okay let me find the rainbow in it all...Gabrielle Union wasn't in it. Isn't she always in bad movies like this one? Oh and surprisingly, Stacy Dash wasn't the worst part of this film. I think the only other time I felt this way is when I stumbled across the movie Booty Call. Hmmm Vivica was in both of movies..coincidence, I think not!
Sherazade
Vivica A. Fox plays Andrea Collins an actress who thinks she is more famous and beautiful than she really is, and in short she thinks the world revolves around her. She is sleeping with one of her best friend's men when we meet her but before long, she flashes an incident (to her agent) where she caught her own boyfriend cheating on her with another man. You would have thought that she would have been devastated but when the gay lover of her lover recognises, they start to chat things up about how beautiful she is in person and how he loves her films etc. etc. Before long, she has even forgotten the fact that her boyfriend (whom she dumps anyway) cheated on her and hires his lover as her new stylist. A few days later we meet her two best friends played by Carmen Electra (Lauren) and Stacey Dash (Emily) while the three are out to lunch, where they begin to plot how they are going to get back at men for treating them wrong. Enter Bill Bellamy, the man all three of them zero in on and try to use by seducing and dumping. Too bad that he is in on their game and plays them as well for all their worth, that is until he falls in love with the most innocent of the three, Emily. Kathy Najimy plays the very funny and quirky psychologist of the character Emily.

The story starts by an introduction of Andrea Collins (Vivica Fox). This woman is depicted as preppy, shallow and self-obsessed (chliche) Hollywood actress. Despite of that, due to the funny - at times even parodying way of using this character makes this girl somewhat lovable. Later on, Andrea meets two of her friends and they start a twisted challenge : silly competition in seducing (almost) randomly selected stranger. (Suprisingly, no actual prize was at stake)Getting played is a romantic story that won't get you disappointed. The movie is perfectly written (the plot is great for the comedy genre) and acted, the scenes are warm and music well chosen. The part where mark strips was rather unique and unpredictably funny. I loved Stacy Dash here - she was very appealing and no less shining than Vivica Fox or Carmen Electra. Overall this story is a great movie, its smart and original humor suited me very well. Great alternative to senseless teen comedies (about losing virginity), overgrown weed-smoking losers living with their mums and the like. Getting played is no tough art or deep story but simple, well executed romance/fun flick that shouldn't make its audience regret their choice. This movie can easily find decent place on my shelf, since It's very charming, delightful and entertaining piece.
