StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

Miss_MiChiMi This movie was completely disappointing, ridiculous, and pointless. The acting, and I use that term loosely, was not even good enough to be labeled amateur. These were zombies with scripts moving their mouths and making sounds. The premise was ludicrous, start with the reality show, mix in a generous helping of Survivor, add some desperate actors and writers, add heaping tablespoons of cheesy special effects and completely plastic looking scenery, slowly whisk in some type of hallucinogenic, put on film, edit for two seconds, and serve tepid. I am a Michael Dudikoff fan, but this was almost enough to change me. (I said almost!) His "bad guy" was as menacing as a 2 day old kitten. Treat Williams' performance was comatose at best. He made it painfully obvious that he was not happy to be in this fiasco. Had he have had any less enthusiasm he would have been sleeping throughout the film with a sign in his hand reading "This piece of crap is not my idea. Please forgive me!" Tim Thomerson. I have learned the hard way that when a movie displays this name in the opening credits, it is meant to serve as a warning, "This is your last chance to run like hell." Tim Thomerson is quickly becoming associated with pitiful, misdirected, farfetched, and downright horrible B movies, at least in my psyche anyway.Unless you are completely bored with no alternative for cerebral stimulation, do not under any circumstances watch this movie. If you like Treat Williams or Michael Dudikoff, they have better, much better films out there. This one should be recalled and destroyed!

docp I must admit to being disappointed with this film. Normally I very much enjoy films starring Michael Dudikoff but this was not up to the usual standard, perhaps because he did not play as important a role as he might. Scientifically the film was complete rot, particularly regarding the nature of tsunamis, and this stretched the imagination beyond acceptable limits and required too many allowances to enable one to participate in the film. Instead I found myself listing the errors within it. It's a pity, since although not by any means an original idea for a movie, there is still sufficient mileage in it for there to have been a good, exciting and enjoyable film. Alas, this is not it!

henrikmoy this movie contains awful story,gruesome special effects and even worst acting!How can u get away with this in 2002? Beats me! The story takes place on a island during a recording of a reality program!Then all hell breaks loose and offcourse there is a major storm coming (thats why that stupid title "gale forces" lol)

greg-314 Watch the first 10 minutes of this film and you realize that there are a number of scenes taken from Last Action Hero. I wondered why Treat Williams was dressed the same as Arnold and driving the same car. After watching these and other scenes, one had to wonder how much of this movie was actual new footage and how much had been taken from other movies.Do not rent this movie. It's predictable (perhaps this statement is obvious since some viewers will have seen various segments before). It's a low Grade B movie at best.
