Capisce100 In the annals of cinema failure, ladies and gentlemen I present to you the most accomplished of them all. In virtually every aspect this mammoth farce of a film shocks the viewer to the core. At no point are any of the actors, and I use the term 'actors' loosely here, believable or appear interested in being in the film. The camera work is deranged, the dialogue as cheesier than a cheesy wotsit and the plot as about as interesting as cutting your garden lawn with nail clippers. A cringe fest that makes nay sense. Those that have given this garbage full marks are either related to, or friends of the film makers and the cast or simply chavs that expect the very basics when it comes to movie entertainment and would Cool As Ice a milestone in film making. I hope the 'dodgy one' stops thinking he's a top OG and begin to act, yes act, his age and station in life. However, as others have mentioned, a big shout out to Pete who stole the show with his gnashers.

markjtilbury I stuck with it even through a woeful opening scene. The story doesn't flow smoothly it could have had a good 20 minutes cut to make a more flowing narrative. I hate to single out an actor for a poor performance but Jamie Bannerman just didn't work. It seems like it was filmed by two crews and two directors because there were a lot of negatives but some positives including some talented actors who shone in-spite of the direction. Dave Courtney was Outstanding, Lucy Drive gave a believable performance though I know she is destined for a lot better. and Jerry Anderson despite this misnomer nothing wooden about him.I get the feeling a lot of effort is being put in by the producers into posting good reviews on here. Instead of which I would suggest a total re-edit and re release it as a directors cut. Spend the money. Dave Courtney's performance alone warrants that.

praybould5 I can not understand what made me sit through this rubbish? It was appalling, the worst of the worst. An English, Spaghetti Western, mixed with a Chinese martial arts film! I feel devastated that I wasted nearly two hours of my life watching it. It did look like a creative tech class at school that knocked up the screen play for a level 1 BTEC (sorry kids, you would have made a better job) This film rating could easily have been given minus figures. Please, please do not ever make another film, I am just glad I never paid to watch it, or even god forbid. to have bought it!Stick to being a doorman!

dale27 This film is one of the most controversial new releases out there, with some people saying it's the best thing since sliced bread and others saying it's a load of poo. Well I couldn't take it anymore. Curiosity got the best of me. So I ordered this bad boy online, I pulled in my pal Roger and my girl Diane, cracked open a few cold ones and got a pizza delivery man on the way over with the goods, and hit the play button. Film starts up, looking good. Music nice, location some small grotty cafe. Homeless bloke looks longingly at people eating good food, then gets slung out by the Chef... and on it goes. Nothing wrong that we could see... it's not big budget, sure. There are no car chases or alien invasions. It takes place in mostly quieter settings, a lot of it filmed in the (gorgeous by the way) English countryside around Kent. Well after enjoying the story, loving the characters and generally having a great time we all rated this one two thumbs up. If you watch this film make sure you get about 15 minutes in where the boss has just met the soldier bloke and then starts interrogating his henchman... after this point we knew we were watching a classic. You'll know what I mean.Anyway - amazing film. Story loved it, production values low budget but bang on the money and look beautiful. Sound not always as good as Hollywood the critics have a point on that one... but you've got to be alert to notice. Music maybe needed more famous/well known tracks but who knows what they could afford. Acting was great - subtle and nuanced, I have no idea why people didn't rate the actors. Dave is amazing in his role and deserves special praise. He's utterly terrifying. THe big bouncer guy is hilarious, so clearly tongue in cheek it's funny people find him so offensive. Film is quite long, maybe too long but that's a matter of taste and the girlfriend disagrees, so...8/10 is my final verdict. Great film, love the independent cinema scene, and to the negative reviewers, guys, stop, breathe, relax. Drop the Hollywood expectations and give it a fair shake. If you like a strong story, authentic performances and good old fashioned dramatic tension then give this a go you won't be disappointed. If it's not your thing then never mind, go and watch Transmogrifiers IV or whatever soulless airline on board movie dross you lot enjoy these days.
