I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

This movie was just ok...story concept was good but the movie was predictable from he start. Acting not bad. No twists. Again...Just ok

FRIEND REQUEST is a serial killer-themed indie thriller featuring a couple of once-popular 1980s stars which makes this an '80s reunion of sorts. A serial killer stalks his prey via social media, which is timely enough, but the film suffers a great deal from the usual problems associated with independent cinema, i.e. a budget so low that it can't stage anything particularly interesting or memorable. It feels very much like a '90s Hollywood B-movie, only cheaper. Martin Kove, of THE KARATE KID fame, has a small role here, but for the brunt of the screen time the focus is on Anthony Michael Hall, that geeky ginger-haired kid from THE BREAKFAST CLUB, WEIRD SCIENCE, and many others. He's unrecognisable these days but I did get a kick out of his presence.
