Felix Trifles with Time Audience Reviews

Ehirerapp Waste of time
ScoobyMint Disappointment for a huge fan!
Freaktana A Major Disappointment
Sameer Callahan It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
MartinHafer When the film begins, Felix is sick and tired of modern life. So, he goes to visit Father Time and begs him to send him back to another era. He sends Felix back to the year 1 and instead of being fun, it's tough in this Flintstone sort of world. And, during this time, folks wear furs for clothing...and soon they are chasing Felix to try to steal his pelt! Eventually, you see a denuded Felix...and he then must go in search of his coat! Not surprisingly, when Father Time brings Felix back, Felix is more than happy to be living in the 20th century. This is a cute cartoon...and about typical in quality for the Felix cartoons. It does have a musical score which was added later. And, fortunately, the YouTube copy does NOT have the added sound effects like many of the silent Felix cartoons which had these added later. I say fortunately because the effects are pretty awful...and this one lacks them (yippee!). Worth seeing.
boblipton Felix the Cat can't find anything to eat, so he bribes Father Time to send him back to when life was easier. However, the Stone Age turns out to have its own problems.Felix the Cat was the most popular of silent movie cartoon series and it deserved to be. With its wacky but consistent logic, Felix' scrappy personality and the constant surprise of how one thing becomes another, it's a consistent delight for the audience. Notice how director Otto Messmer plays with objects here, so that a tree becomes an elephant's trunk or a splash of water an umbrella and how Felix deals with matters as we might: not too successfully, but gamely.
