Acensbart Excellent but underrated film

Eric Stevenson I generally don't review that many documentaries because it's hard to classify them in comparison to other movies. I will make an exception if that documentary was particularly notable in some way. I knew I had to see the highest grossing documentary ever made. This is a great way of showing how influential the art of film is. This really did make me look back at all the stuff we had to put through during the Bush administration. At the time of this film's release, we hadn't yet had our second term with George W. Bush. I guess this wasn't as effective as Michael Moore hoped. And thank you for allowing people to post your movies online!It was great to go right back where it started with the 2000 election. Boy, do I remember that! This was released the same year as "Passion Of The Christ" another one of the most significant R-rated films of all time. It's hard for either of them not to be controversial. Moore himself has relatively little screen time, but then again, I haven't seen that many documentaries. The second half is the best as we get into the Iraq War. It does make me realize how much I and our nation has grown since then. Yeah, we still have terrorist threats like ISIS out there, but I really feel we've gotten smarter. I have high hopes that Donald Trump will not win the election.What's great about this movie is getting to see all the brief interviews with the people. We completely feel for what's going on and how it's affected us all. I think there are some inaccuracies or things that are presented poorly. The film says that Bin Laden's family was in the vicinity of the Bush administration. While technically true, it should be noted that Bin Laden has many relatives, many of which are barely associated with him at all. I'm glad to stick it to Christopher Hitchens for not liking Moore. Then again, he hated everybody. ***1/2

Smoreni Zmaj Intelligent people should realize most of this even without this movie, but even with it most of people refuse to see what's going on. And I must add one objection - I don't know if there really was terrorist attack or government staged whole thing, but anyway, even if that was really terrorist, government allowed them to do it, cause there is no damn chance it could happen without their intelligence knowing about that. Plus, plains could not completely destroy towers and especially not the way they collapsed. There had to be huge amounts of explosive and plains just started the chain reaction. So, either whole thing was staged, or it was at least allowed and "improved" by USA, to provide for themselves nice excuse to invade, occupy and rob middle east countries. USA power is based on such things, they did it whole 20th century and they do it still without any intention to stop it. They must not stop it cause without war they would collapse.

George Roots (GeorgeRoots) "Fahrenheit 9/11", possibly remains just as controversial now as it did back in 2004. Where I definitely consider this documentary to be the one where Michael's opinion really has a much larger presence than it needs to have, it's exceptionally well put together and really shows off some of the well known absurdities of George Bush's time as President.Whereas the first half focuses on Bush's campaign and actions, the remaining half focuses on the devastation of the Iraq War. The segments where people in and outside America "cheerlead" the War, as well as the prisoner abuse kind of unsettles and angers me. The fact that a majority of soldiers are made up from the poorer class systems seems like a no brainer, and I do like it when Moore tries to persuade Senator's to sign up their children. It's crude and absurd, yet sometimes there is no right and wrong when it comes to War.Final Verdict: The only thing left to mention is see it and make up your own interpretation. In many ways it's all a farce, but thanks to the freedom of speech we'll always have our own opinions. 8/10.

Rick Conrad I was up EXTRA early on 9/11/2001 to get the NEWEST results from Florida's several ongoing recounts; and instead I got to see the second (World Trade) tower hit (LIVE)... and meanwhile, Bush was deep down (safe) in Florida. SERIOUSLY! The people in the buildings were not traders overall, most were cleaners, guards, assistants... and in the basement was the World Court Appeals for Economic Crimes... one of the few hopes of third world countries. Can you say FISHY?? LATER, Condi Rice quotes a document purported to be from bin Laden, referencing an ability to EFFECT U.S.A. ELECTION RESULTS!!! Almost as sick as ONE crumby VOTE on the Supreme Court deciding AGAINST THE WILL OF THE VOTERS mind you, who will live in the WHITE HOUSE. Have you seen the movie Fahrenheit 911?? In case you did not hear, Fahrenheit 911 was the top candidate for Best Picture, until a right wing arse-fracking nazi sabotaged its chances on purpose based on a technicality. Other than "The Corporation", "Murder, Spies, and Voting Lies", "Apocalypse Africa: Made in America" and "Red Reign" it is atop my list of ALL time documentaries... and one of my favorite movies of ALL time.
