I generally don't watch Neha Dhupias films but when my friend insisted I thought I will take a look for Abhay Deols sake. I started the film at some 11.30 in night thinking will see half and rest will see in morning. But I ended up watching even the end credits till around 1:45 am. Just loved the film. Slept thinking how hero who had just dhai ghanta (2.5 hrs) go thru so many things so convincingly. Guess credit goes to the film maker. Superbly directed and thought. I checked for more of his films but nothing. Besides the twist and turns what I liked was the love story pun in this mayhem. Neha never looked better and Abhay was soo affable and funny specially when his clothes were taken off and he was tied to bed.. Good fun. Only thing I wish was if the film was little shorter say by 10 min. But worth. I wish we had a few more film makers here like this and they would give even west a run for money. Now like my friends I recommend whoever has not seen to see this flick.

The name "Ek Chalis Ki Last Local' baffled me and I was skeptic to go for it. But as all my friends recommended highly I went. I was surprised by the unassuming story and its styling. I think what the director who is the writer as well has managed to achieve is the new age cinema we all talk about here in bollywood. I think the way the film twists every 5 minutes in an unassuming manner catching pace, yet keeping in the releams of reality is commendable. Also I think this is the first 'Real time film' of India and it has not been promoted like that. I matched my watch in the begning and end. It is a real time film. Abhay Deol looked picture perfect in a lost-out dodo role. And Neha Dhupia was the best I have seen of her till now. This type of film is what will eventually someday get us to international cinema. I think its a must see for all specially if u r cinema buff. I would at least rate it 8/10 on my scale.

I was skeptical to watch this low budget no glam face movie, but i was proved wrong by miles this movie is zillion times better than any of the Karan Johar or any big hit masala movies. The story is humorous thrilling full of anticipation and best of all UNPREDICTABLE, believe me guys the the story is totally unpredictable probably this was the first bollywood movie whose story i was unable to predict.Abhay Deol, Neha Dhupia & Ashok Samarth (Playing Malvankar Inspector) have done a good job.Over all its a must see but not fit for family audience (do not take kids with u).

I was skeptical about watching this one. But finally managed to convince myself and watched this one. And I didn't regret it.It is similar to a typical 7 pointer movie from Hollywood. Not much style not much hype - just a plain simple story. Its basically a story of a young call centre employee Nilesh who misses his last 1.40 am train. Then he meets a girl named Madhu and as the night unfolds itself into some unexpected events. And for the next two and a half hours we are subjected to games played by Nilesh's fate with him putting him into all sorts of trouble and at the same time getting him out of it unscathed. At the break of the day he is as the sole owner of 2.5 crores. The only problem was the acting. Abhay Deol seriously needs some acting lessons and same goes for Neha Dhupia. But overall an enjoyable and a one time movie !
