siera-37340 I hate writing too long. It is a waste to ruin a Korean movie. Even the name of a movie is a shame. I hope there is no one who wants to see a movie just for poster. It is the life that does not look good.

posserider1996 I have watched this film a few times over the years with my wife and we both think these low ratings are not justified. First it is a Korean made film with great special effects with a smaller budget then most films made by united states film companies. It was a film that captured a lot of different emotions and kept our attention all the way to the end. It had a good cast including a good performance by Jason Behr. I would not let these low reviews stop you from seeing this movie. This is a movie I own on bluray and plan on watching again. I gave it a rating of 10 only because it deserves a much higher rating then a lot of viewers gave it. So give this movie a try especially if you like mystical or fantasy type movies.

Thomas Sun Dragon wars told us a Korean legend about the dragons.I read the comments here and found the rate is so low. Maybe the plot is too weak and some scene is ridiculously naive. Maybe it's the director's fault, he just wanted to make a film combined with eastern and western culture, but he made a mess. The special effects is really good and the real dragon in the last scene is really wonderful. The East Asia dragon is different from the evil western dragon.It's a mythical creature with a huge snake-like body covered in fish scales, and adorned with horns, a beard, claws and feet.This dragon can bring the rain to the earth and the people are grateful to that. This legend is originated from China and spread to Korean peninsula and other parts of East Asia. At the end of the movie we hear the traditional Korean folk song and it's really beautiful. Maybe this movie is too short and crudely made, but i have to admit that this movie is a great surprise.

Matt Thompson I gave this movie two stars simply because the dragon effects were good; they looked realistic and believable. However I simply cannot give any more than this. It seemed interesting when I saw the cover in a shop. It was cheap ( £0.75 ) and I thought it was worth getting for a few hours of entertainment. I was completely wrong, buying this was a misjudgement; didn't take it back though because it was so cheap. I found myself bored after about 30-40 minutes, I was waiting for the satisfaction of a good battle or two as this was what I expected from a movie titled ' D-War'. When the battles did finally commence properly after multiple dis-satisfying flashbacks that the characters dreamed about I was not amused. For one the battles were very close to the end and two the battles were short lived. As I was watching is movie I could not help but deter my attention to something else as I was watching it (my iPad) and when it was finished I was pretty relieved. I stuck it out until the end, with my final opinion being that the plot took too long to unfold, the acting was mediocre and the action hinted by the title was dis-satisfying. If you want a cheap movie to put in the background as 'noise' then go ahead, but if you are looking for an entertaining movie night, do not add this one to your list. You will most likely be disappointed.
