Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.

Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.

A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

One of the better Hindi movies.....definitely. How rarely do you see a metaphor so beautifully woven in a story that you don't even realize that you are already a part of it. ROM has his way of story-telling and delivering a really good and positive message. Every director should try and be true to their work and script. Cinematography was awesome. Scenes of Kala-bandar roaming the city were very good. Exceptional cast. Great music score.....A.R. Rahman is really a magician. Music sets the mood outright and the lyrics convey a lot. Parallel working of Ram-leela and the story was great. Good character selection....every character is there to say something.....may it be arrogant policewala....untouchable 'jalebi'.....rich 'lalaji'.....or 'gobar'. This movie works beautifully in delivering the message that it wants to convey. A must watch for all movie-lovers...if you don't get it, you don't deserve it.

I think the excellent movie till date from abhishek and great movie with great music ....a "GREAT SCRIPT" nd a great acting from everyone... a very nice movie and ll just say that a must watch movie for all Indians.NOT just watch the movie but to understand it deepness hidden in it.just wanna say that m not very good in movie criticizing but if i can understand the movie with it deep thought so that every normal human can also understand. I think more of this theme movie also need to make in Bollywood instead of just crap movie with fighting and no story line just with action in them . request to all to like and support this kind of movie and encourage the director for this kind of masterpieces.

I saw this movie a few days ago although I really don't like watching movies of Abhishek Bachchan but still I had some hopes cause it was directed by Rakeysh Mehra whose last movie was really a class act . The movie starts badly and keeps its momentum to the max. I was so disgusted by the first half of the movie that I thought quite a few times to leave the movie however the movie had some big names like Om Puri,Atul Kulkarni,Prem Chopra so waited for the movie to take a U turn but it kept moving on the same track . The direction is really awful . Prakash Mehra must have completed the shooting in a weeks time or so .It is really difficult to accept that the same person had created a gem like "RANG DE BASANTI"Then comes Abhishek Bachchan to make things worse . I really don't understand why he does things like that what he does on screen cause the only thing missing in his movies is ACTING . Almost all his movies have one thing in common and that is the portray of ARROGANCE . The more he tries to act the more he looks ARROGANT . The only thing seems to be working in his favor is the word "BACHCHAN" .Music of the movie is really awesome . AR Rahman as always has done justice with music and it has some real nice tracks to offer .Rest of the cast has nothing much to do so they tried their level best to deliver they were being offered to .Final quote ...One of the worst movies of all time . If IMDb could have allowed negative marking . My score for this movie could have been -10/10 . -5 for the direction and -5 for Abhishek Arrogant Bachchan .

This article was due since long, somehow missed it. So here it goes...I respect Rakesh Omprakash Mehra a lot for RDB which is actually one of the greatest creations in the history of Bollywood. But I was extremely disappointed after watching Delhi 6. No doubt, movie was strong on its philosophy and the metaphorical 'Kala Bandar' had a lot to teach, but the execution was extremely childish with a story line, not at all convincing.People have been shown to follow crappy rumors (before believing on which even an 'IQ=eight and a bloody half' guy would question) without a single exception. And obviously the protagonist, Abishek Bacchan (who probably had elephant's brains) didn't believe on them. Portrayal of such a stupid & vulnerable community simply charred any possible thread connecting 'delhi 6' with reality. And the way in which the character of Kala Bander was written and shown, even Director himself seemed to be confused himself.Rahman did a fabulous job and was one of the only reasons that could save the movie from a shameful death.
