When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

Such an important story and so badly done. I'm not sure if some of the Pythonesque scripting was intentional or it just came out that way. In one scene, David, a pale, fair-haired boy gives away his father's sheep and asks the recipient to look after them. "No worries," he says as he wanders off. Other scintillating dialogue includes "...and my name is David. I hate it when people call me shepherd boy." Princess Michal is similarly fair but has particularly blonde hair. Goliath has a strange robotic/cartoonish voice and seems to have an intellectual disability. The opposing armies also have a Tony Robinson/Baldrick character which undermines the main story. It's worth a look just to laugh and point, but it doeds let-down an important story.

Is there a point in yet another bad movie review? I just watched this on Netflix - where the highest rating was 2 stars. I just don't know what to say. There is no possible way that someone HONESTLY thought this was a good movie. The good reviews I just read obviously had to be jokes or sarcasm...right? I love bad, campy, cheesy "B" movies, so on some level I got a chuckle over the ridiculously awful and inaccurate costumes, "acting", painfully repetitive dialogue and the sound quality. Those sound effects...I can't even..form words to describe how bad the sound quality is. As an example of bad movie making in every possible category, it is hard to think of a better choice ESPECIALLY because this was made in 2015. 1. Why is the army so ethnically diverse? Why are the accents so inconsistent? For all the people who inexplicably called this movie accurate: ancient Hebrew + British accent + fairly diverse ethnic backgrounds = accurate???????? I have nothing against diverse casting, but don't call it an accurate representation of ancient Israel. 2. What nationality / culture did the producers think this story was set in? 3. Was this even a serious effort? I honestly can't tell if the film makers are taking themselves seriously, or if this is parody. I don't have the strength to go on.

Seriously?!?! It absolutely blows my mind that any socially adjusted person would think this movie was good. If this movie moved you or renewed your faith in anyway you mustn't have had very much to begin with.As a Christian, I deem this movie bad and Tim Chey should feel bad. I think this movie actually indirectly mocks God or Christians or both and probably pushes people away from Christianity.Good Job Tim Chey, you may have created a new meaning to the term unprofitable servant.May God have mercy on your soul

This is without a doubt has to be one of the worst movies ever made. Acting I would give a possible 3/10. The editing is horrible where they try to make an army look large with maybe 100 actors in soldier gear. You constantly see the same soldier run past multiple times. -1\10 for editing. Most of it looked like it was shot with a cellphone where it looked like they just used natural lighting. The story of course is a 10/10 because its from the Bible, the script though is very choppy. Very low budget movie attempting to be something it cannot possibly achieve. Eddie Wood would be proud. Read the book. Much better. There has not been a decent Biblical movie since 10 Commandments.
