Best movie of this year hands down!

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

I liked this movie and really liked the oddball special effects. It was different that's for sure.A few scenes dragged on way too long especially the scene with Charlie on the run.The chase scenes were also a bit long but they had an interesting tranquil feeling. You felt almost like you are high on opiates, but I understood it was because he was halfway between life and death.I liked his freaked out reaction when he realized nobody could see him.I didn't really understand why all the cats were following him.The dogs barking was a bit annoying and it wasn't clear if they also sensed or saw what the cats were seeing. His fear of the cats wasn't explained very well or his death and why his soul was in limbo. There were a lot of loose ends but the visuals were nice. the quality of the film was grainy at least my copy of it was.If there is a better digital transfer of this movie out there i'd like to get it.I really enjoyed Dominique Pinon in the main role of Carol the psychologist and look forward to seeing her in other movies. My favorite character was "Mr Barlow" played by Jeff Fahey. His part was short but intriguing and sinister. I give this movie a 6 out of 10. I liked how at the very end in the credits it says the movie is dedicated to God.I'm not sure if this was true or meant to be funny but i'm sure he's got a sense of humor.

First of all, I really can't understand how some people "enjoyed" this movie. It's the worst thing I have ever seen. Even the actors seem to be bored...and I think that says it all! However, I have to give my applause to the opening credits creators - that team seems to have a really good future. That's why I recommend the big studios to watch ONLY the opening credits, and one or two special effects sequences (if they're watched outside this movie, it almost looks like a good movie).Better luck (or judgment) next time for the producers of this, this... this "thing!".

Hey guys and girls! Don't ever rent, or may God forbid, buy this piece of garbage. I have rarely seen a film in any genre as bad as this one. The acting is actually worse than me and my friends did when we were 7 and in the 1.grade had to act in front of all parents and siblings. In fact, we would have been taken up to evaluation for the Oscars, if we were to be compared to the actors in Darkhunters. The story is terrible, the makeup is terrible, the filming is terrible, the set is terrible, the directing is terrible, etc. I can't actually find ANYTHING worth the money spent to see this film.. Maybe except all the cats, which my girlfriend thought were kind of cute. Please, use your money on other things than on this film.... I couldn't even see the last 15-20 minutes of the film, it was that terrible.. If anyone really liked this film, I would REALLY like to hear from you, and I will try to see if I can get you some counseling at a psychiatrist's office near you..0 out of 10, actually below if possible.. Not worth the DVD or tape it is on..

This is the worst film I have ever seen. And I am not one of those people who say that all the time. But tonight I can say it 'the worst film I have ever seen'.So I recommend everyone to watch it. Because this film is a bottomless pit, you can't go any lower. There is no acting, no emotions, no story. And no action, no nudity –no redeeming factors, it's just plain bad, really bad. It doesn't get any worse than this. Which makes it quite educational.Where you are now you can't even imagine what the bottom will be like!(Just one man's opinion, some people apparently liked it)
