Colibel Terrible acting, screenplay and direction.
Mjeteconer Just perfect...
Marketic It's no definitive masterpiece but it's damn close.
Gurlyndrobb While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
nickynickybad I found this without reading any recommendations about it. Basically it's about snuff. Some filmmakers are making a fake snuff movie & they receive a mysterious package that says it's the real deal. What is interesting is how the rather dusty subject of snuff is handled. This movie has a sense of humour. The director & crew bicker amongst themselves & act somewhat goofy. I really found this an appealing break between some very disturbing snuff images. The acting was decent for an independent production. The only complaint I have is that the film seems disjointed at times because there's a lot going on & not everything is explained. At least once I had to catch up with the plot. That's fine. It's a small issue.Definitely worth repeat viewings & I am sad to find that it's not available on DVD from Amazon.
robert-hooton As i collect and love horror movies this movie seems as a bad directors nightmare,, cheap actors with a blah plot..... really? a serial killer is going to let people he doesn't even know to make evidence of his crimes..... Yawn. The plot alone is not very interesting, and the actors seem to be a local bunch rather than a talented group....I would rate this film at a 3 out of a 10,, which I only give that good of a rating do to the editing... which was somewhat good.,, other than that the storyline and actors seem to need a lot of improvement.thats why my rate is 3 out of a 10....
jpreisig I've seen an advance copy of this film - and I will say right off the bat that I am friends with the producer. However if I didn't like the film I would simply say nothing. This is a well acted original story. Unlike most horror movies shot for 1 million or less this film doesn't have any zombies, ghosts, or killer clowns - just a good old fashioned scary as hell psycho with a knife. The plot is believable and possible. The camera work and editing are excellent. The actors are all very good, none of your average cheesy horror film acting. The film is both scary and comedic at the same time.My only complaint is it begins to feel a bit repetitive after a while. The camera work and jump cuts are very unique, but after an hour or so you kind of "get it". I also think the producer makes one big choice that stays true to his art, but might not be the best for his bottom line. I don't want to put any spoilers in here though.Overall it's one of the 5 or so best horror films I've seen - when it finally comes out you really do want to see it.
