The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

Tomas Milian , with his character of the "Commissario Monnezza"( = rubbish) at his 5th episode. Here the language is less filled with swear words , the product is of a higher quality and features the very popular popsinger Viola Valentino , playing the character of a singer in the movie , singing " Comprami" , a very popular hit in Italy in 1982. Viola Valentino was married with Riccardo Fogli , leader of the band " Pooh", one of the most beloved Italian popgroups ever. Commissario Monnezza works in an undercover operation to try to identify a gang which is robbing trucks on the highway : therefore he is has to be away from home for several weeks, he is not even allowed to phone home . Then he falls in love with Viola Valentino and decides to break his love history with his wife, but at the end of the movie , when he tells to his son Rocky that he is not willing to come back home anymore, his son tells him to f..... off , and here is the happy end !
