A Major Disappointment

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Sarita Rafferty
There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.

I would love to give a more detailed comment on the flick but it sucked so bad, I couldn't focus on it. Bad, acting, crappy fx, poorly shot, I've seen 8- year olds with better zombie makeup on Halloween. All I can really say is that it tries to pass off as an action/horror, but its not scary, or exciting..its just boring...90% talk to say the least and the action is so weak its not even worth watching to laugh at about how crappy it is...I would only recommend this movie as a sleep aid to people with insomnia...much respect to Felissa Rose though (not for playing in this garbage but sleepaway camp) though...that and I like Romereo is about the only reason I watched it but this movie is a disgrace, and I'm not saying that based on its budget... It just sucked...hardily.

I love a good low budget horror flick, but I can't say anything positive about this one. Even by genre standards the plot is incomprehensible, the acting about as skilled as a middle school play and there is a total lack of scares, gore or even any campy fun.Not worth the cost of the production. Even though that was obviously only $1.50 and a shoestring. It's some deluded film school failure's vanity project and he's currently petitioning for internet help to convince the production and financial handlers to make a sequel. I'm glad they're (thus far) not biting.I wish there was a zero option, as that is what this shoddy mess truly deserves.

I enjoyed this movie. No its not a great movie, but i felt it was well done camp. You cant take the movie itself seriously, but the movie plays off this, it isn't meant to be serious, scary or believable. This movie doesn't have pretensions, and i found it much more entertaining than say, club dread... (which was given a theatrical release.) i thought it was enjoyable, and very wisely had a runtime of 120 mins. And the devil looks very much like marlon brando, I'm surprised no one else has commented on this. I felt the storyline was very original, a nice change of pace from all the "teenagers visiting woods/secluded rural community" genre films (cabin fever excepted). If you want a little over an hour of mindless entertainment, and are willing to exercise suspension of disbelief, maybe check it out..... Or at least if you are contemplating renting club dread check this out instead..

*SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILER ALERT*"Corpses are Forever" reeks. It is a sick joke of a horror flick. It is supposed to be some sort of zombie flick but it's all a lie. The movie is just an excuse to gather some B-movie divas together so that the filmmakers could waste their time. Mission accomplished. But what about that diva trio? Surely they could add something worthwhile to this garbage? Well, there's Brinke Stevens, Linnea Quigley and Debbie Rochon. Now that's three scream queens. Count them. Three. Ask me how many of them got naked. Go on and ask me. You ready? NONE! BOOOO!!! All we get is a bargain basement James Bond who continually checks his ammo while confused zombies wander around wondering what the heck they are doing in this movie. Pardon me while I go take a shower. I need to wash this movie down the drain.
