Best movie ever!
TrueHello
Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.

This film deserved a better reception. It's better than most of the rubbish that's peddled by the big studios these days. The narrative is a bit clunky at times but there's real power and meaning in the story and the cast deliver very strong performances and credit is due to the director who has shown real promise as a first rate storyteller. The scene with the protagonist and his mother at the beginning of the film is extremely powerful and so strong it lets the rest of the film down; meaning expectations were so high for a weighty deep meaningful film, thus the narrative becomes clunky at times. Finally, the director's use of music really underpins the film.

08/06/2018 Glad it's over. A mish mash bunch of unconnected segments. Rave reviews? Why? Mundane entertainment that fails.

I don't know what others think and I don't wanna understand how or why this movie is so underrated and not very known. This is absolutely the kind of movies that won't let you the same person you were before watching it.I can't precise what this movie did to me but it surely left something.Something new.Something astonishing and violently beautiful . It's not about a classical love story nor a selection of traditional action scenes. This is an artistic emotional masterpiece. You will feel its emotional roller-coaster ,you will feel a strange but a magical wave of life.I don't wanna spoil the end for you but you'll adore it.

I've seen this movie floating around on Netflix for months. One morning, 5am, I put it on hoping it will be a decent movie to pass out to. Needless to say... I didn't sleep. This movie actually woke me up, perking my curiosity in the opening scenes and demanding my attention 25-30 minutes in. I've always liked Shia LaBeouf a decent amount. His character in this flick is different, interesting and a little unpredictable. Then there is the always great Evan Rachel Wood. I have adored her in countless movies and this one is no exception. She does A great job and looks just as stunning as ever. The protagonists also executed wonderfully by their actors. The dialogue, amazing, every word said wiggled its way to my brain and just suspended there. Maybe I look to deeply into things but it felt like everything I heard I could morph into something that had to do with my life, it all just resonated with me. By the end of the movie I had chosen to fall asleep to, I was standing up, smoking a cigarette and watching very intently.I didn't have to say all that but I felt the need to. When it boils down to it though, I think any average movie goer could enjoy this film and its definitely worth a try to anyone. And if you see it like I do, you'll find it a masterpiece.
