Surprisingly incoherent and boring

Good movie but grossly overrated

It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional
Humaira Grant
It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

"Honest and poignant. A documentary in which many of the subjects actually developed, as in true literature." It never slowed down, I thought it had great continuity. The soundtrack was great, and I especially liked the acoustic guitar guy's weed song!I was expecting a dry documentary. I was also emotionally moved by some of the experiences the main characters went through. I was surprised, as it was a documentary about marijuana. I was also surprised that it was really quite educational. I had never heard of Oakseterdam University. The growing scenes were interesting as well. The character that impressed me the most was the girl that smoked all day long and had no ambition but to smoke all day long. And at the end of the movie she got her life together. Remember, this was all real!!

I saw this film at the Asheville Cinema Festival and found it to be not only educational, but funny and tear jerking at times. It follows four twenty something year olds who are marijuana users. It also examines all aspects of marijuana usage - recreational, medical, as a business & as a political hot issue. I enjoyed the film as a movie, as well as being educated on many aspects of the marijuana plant and its use. Factual, & non-judgmental it allows the viewer to come to his/her own conclusions about this controversial plant. A great story line made it more than just a documentary. Older adults, parents and grandparents, will enjoy this film as much as the younger generation of 20 somethings.
