I'll tell you why so serious
Borserie
it is finally so absorbing because it plays like a lyrical road odyssey that’s also a detective story.

In truth, any opportunity to see the film on the big screen is welcome.

Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

Saw "Burma" an awesome movie about "car seizing" by débutante Dharani Dharan starring Michael Thangadurai, Sampath Raj, Atul Kulkarni and Karthik Sabesh. Awesome, fantastic,Simple yet Gripping...I can go on about this movie's story. The movie is only one hour and forty minutes, crisp editing( hats off to the editor Vivek Harshan), superb direction, screenplay and camera work too. Even the costumes of the movie was great. The music we must give it to the débutante Sudarshan M Kumar for getting it right almost everywhere by keeping the mood of the movie as it should be at a given place anywhere in the movie. Coming to the acting, Michael played Burma how it should have been and of course stellar performances by the "seniors" as I would say Atul and Sampath. I should also mention the excellent support given by Karthik Sabesh as Boomer to Burma in the movie. Finally I should also mention the apt usage of vintage movie scenes(from Sivaji's Pudhiya Paravai) and songs("Gundu onnu Vechirukken" from Arangettra Velai) and the Dialogues written for the movie overall or their usage from older movies( "Veeram na enna theruyuma" dialogue from KuruthipPunal as the ring tone for Burma's cell phone). And to think that this movie was served to us by a débutante makes me just take a bow for him, Mr Dharani Dharan in this place. Overall I would definitely give this movie a 4 on 5. Hats Off to the Producer too for supporting the director and giving us this good movie! Definitely Worth a watch!!

If you like cars, if you like being on the thieves' sides, or if you just like being entertained, check this movie out. one of my favorites. Plus you add in this amazing car chase. So, it's of course got loads of action. That's of course a good thing, if that's what you're expecting to see. The movie has an interesting story to go with all the good action. The whole movie I found myself at the edge of my seat. And every time I watch it only gets better and better. In my opinion, it is the best movie ever made and I love it! A person would be crazy not to love this movie.Well done Dharani and his Team.

A good entertaining movie. I watched the movie with my cousin last eve. Nice story and good screen play. New concept. I love cars. :-) Its a two hour movie, just got over with little story. Except for more new concept movies in future with long story. I like this movie.will watch once more with my friends today. The links between the characters were given in correct order. Twist in story takes it with expectations on 'whats next'.Burma is put together exquisitely. In a montage set to music, we keep hopping between cross-hatched events. In another scene involving a couple of phone calls, we keep panning between split screens. In the midst of a heist being planned, we cut away to the gang leader's drug use — this has got to be the most economical character I've seen this year.Recommended movie to watch on theaters only. Every artist played their role well. All the best for the team. Keep rolling with new ideas. Thanks for this movie.
