This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows

Here's the thing: Harold is a nerd, and in the first movie (Killer Nerd, which I am yet to see) he killed violently all of the people who had persecuted and ridiculed him and generally made his life a misery, including his mother. Now he's all alone and contemplating suicide. As luck would have it though, one day at church he meets Thelma, a fellow nerd, and they team up. They get invited to a party and are soundly humiliated and, guess what? Go on, have a go. That's right, they go on a killing spree to exact revenge on all those who tormented them.Shocking acting, woeful dialogue, terrible direction, this is good fun. Though not in The Toxic Avenger league, this is still a sound Troma release.

Bride of the Killer Nerd (1992) is a good movie. I was very surprised by how well it was directed and acted. The story follows Harold Kunkle who's literally haunted by ghosts from his past. Poor Harold, he's still plagued by problems that he thought were finished and taken care of in Killer Nerd. All he does is work, sleep and eat. Until one day he finds his soul mate, a female nerd from a local high school. Just when their lives were about to hit rock bottom they found each other. Will this relationship last? That would be telling. Expect some mondo psycho-madness and other strange stuff in this little watched film.Toby Radloff is perfect as the Killer Nerd. Being "America's Biggest Nerd" works in his favor as he reprises his role as Harold Kunkle from Killer Nerd. Despite the very low production values, it's a very entertaining film and it's worth seeking out the Troma disc because it has both films on it and other great stuff from Troma....of course!Recommended.

I was expecting another stupid unfunny horror movie, but this was actually pretty good. Well written and well acted (by the nerd). Just listening to the Killer Nerd talk was enough to make me laugh. That guy should be in more movies! The Killer Nerd finds a girlfriend and they get invited to a party. Of course the only reason they were invited was so they can be humiliated in front of everyone. They get their revenge with a gory throat slashing, a Psycho shower scene, and the Bride of the Nerd castrates some guy with her teeth. Extremely low budget, but good anyway.

This is the sequel to KILLER NERD -- the saga of Harold Kunkle continues. It starts out with a real Hitchcock-Twilight Zone style laugh and ends the same way. The film is the story of two nerds who find love -- a Thoreau and an Emily Dickinson of the 90s, both suicidal and both out for revenge. There is a little bit of Bobbitizing and cannibalism along the way just for fun. The film is quite witty and rather well done for a low-budget independent.
