I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

I believed "The Last" will be the last movie but they made another one,and its so emotional to see all the characters grown-up in live action with their kids. The end credit scene actually burst me out of laughter. Seeing how Boruto made Sasuke as the role model was expected at the end and I was so happy to listen that at the end of the movie

The movie is HEAVILY focused on how Boruto hates his dad for not being around and how he gets to understand/forgive his dad in the end in terms of a bad event happening to the village. Maybe I'm just getting too old for this. There wasn't enough focus on learning to know what everyone has become now. Nothing displaying the bonds between the other characters. Not even between Sasuke and Sakura. And I like how they portray Boruto as some kind of mechanical fighter with a wrench and then there isn't ANYTHING related to that in the movie. In other words he doesn't have a personal fighting style, it's just an uninteresting copy of Naruto.Otherwise the animation was interesting, you get to see how the village has developed since you last saw it. And you get to see how Boruto acts emotionally under certain circumstances which gives you a glint of his personality.

I'll admit it Naruto was a Bad father he didn't event went to the important occasions that his family has, he clearly stated to Hinata from the The Last that she'll be his first priority from now on then he became Hokage, Yes we understand that it is his dream to be a Hokage but he doesn't have to shoulder all the duties making clones to fix all the stuff, Naruto cares but he doesn't know how to show it i think he forgot to show affection already due to the stress that he is dealing with, you'll understand once you've watched it you'll notice it. Now for Boruto he was a neglected child, before he wasn't he misses his father a lot because their family bond too much and he feels bad for his mom Hinata and his baby sister Himawari who doesn't have time for them, He really is kind hearted and very angry at his Dad. He just doesn't want to be neglected, Two sides are correct and we can't side which one of them. Now for Sasuke oh boy he redeemed himself, Went soul searching and found his answer being the new Jiraya, finding intel to know if the 5 nations is still safe after the War with Kaguya and found one, he teach-ed Boruto as well cause he knows what Boruto feel when he was young. Naruto = Itachi, Boruto = Sasuke. One thing i noticed is that i can't feel the Family Love, Naruto and Hinata only talked once, Sasuke and Sakura didn't even talk, no affection (i think Kishimoto is bad at writing this kind of stuff) The fight scenes now, oh i love it Less Jutsu, MORE Taijutsu, They know that it was a follower of Kaguya, Once Sasuke knew the weakness He and Naruto goes H.A.M i don't wanna spoil more, i was just hoping that it would be a 2 hr movie to broaden up what happened after they'll get together, etc. it was a bit rushed but i'll feel bad for the Animators who really worked hard, the animation is very very good.

I thought that The Last was really the last disastrous blow to Naruto's downfall, yet this is even worse. The villain was with the ultimate eye power of the rinnegan, yet he couldn't sustain the tiny rasengan Bolt threw at him because he wasn't aware of it? Rinnegan was supposed to absorb ninjutsu AUTOMATICALLY, man! And from when did Bolt have the time-space ninjutsu, as he could transfer the rasengan to another space and make it appear again? From what I remember in the manga, only Kamui (Obito's sharingan power) could have done that, and Bolt didn't even have the sharingan, lol.The father-and-son tension was terrible too, Bolt was angry because his father was busy protecting the village? Most children have working parents who couldn't be home till evening too, not to mention Naruto seemed to send his clones home often, so that kind of tension is too forced and ridiculous. On the other hand, Naruto, who always craved for family and love and dreamed of become Hokage, behaved like he's bored the hell out of it with both his family and his job, feels like just being sold by Kishimoto to milk the series a bit longer. In short, if The Last destroyed all bonds Naruto treasured to forcefully insert an useless-but-with-boobs Hinata into his life, Boruto the movie successfully poops on the rest of the logic on ninjutsu and techniques that's been left on the series.
