Taraparain
Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
Lidia Draper
Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Gary
The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.

Belgian is slowly moving on the list of must seen flicks. This is surely one of them. Hans Herbots is the director of this drama based on "Het Engelenhuis" by the Belgian author Dirk Bracke. But this flick had something special to offer. It's about a 15 year old girl Deborah (Ella-June Henrard) who can't stand the way she's living in the suburbs of Antwerp. Being that young naturally she's open for friends and she met Jennifer (Kalina Malehounova). When she goes with her for a night out she sees how easy it is to earn some money, Jennifer is an escort girl. Deborah is introduced into the scene but doesn't know what she agrees. Downward spiral from there on for her into a world of kinky sex and drugs. No way back for Bo. Even as Ella-June (Bo) had to go naked in her first film she did quit well. And it is really she that carries this drama. But is also weird to see Kalina going full naked because she was known for the series 'Thuis' and youth series "W817" as Kim De Hert. Not an usual Belgian flick, and nowadays a bit hard to find, it do pops up sometimes in the shops. If you like Christiane F. than this is surely one to see.
