Baseshment I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.

Murphy Howard I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

Robots, giant monkeys, feudal Japan...it's more fun than DC has ever provided. For all you scoring this movie under 8.5 stars: whatever's wrong with you is no little thing.

OneEightNine Media Yeah I can't lie, this one hurts a little. Batman gets attacked by a group of guys wearing Joker masks and the first thing he yells is, "WHO DO YOU WORK FOR?!!!?"... and a million other stupid things. I think this film was just trying to do too much and didn't and enough time to, na. I can not make excuses for this. It is a dumpster fire. Avoid it at all costs.

elgabote When first news about the movie came up I was so excited about it! Batman + Feudal Japan + Anime!! Sounds great!! Well, it's not. Story is super messy, artistically it's quite inconsistent, couldn't really convince myself to love it, even though a few scenes are really cool to watch, most of the times they make no sense. Total waste of potential, and the worst was the robots. That was it for me, totally out of place in the story, it's a complete nonsense and unnecessary. On top of it, it takes so much time with this ridiculous robots that what could be interesting, the fights between the heroes and each villain is totally rushed and incomplete. I don't even know what else to say about this, it's so messy that it's even difficult to break down. Animation is good, but abuses badly used CGI, story is bad from beginning to end... that's pretty much all I can say here. Worth the watch? Only for a few minutes, a few scenes of action on the whole thing, but 1h23m will feel long, believe me.
