Leofwine_draca BANG RAJAN 2 is a sequel to the original Thai hit; I'm a big fan of that film although it doesn't exactly leave things open for a follow-up. This one has little in common with the first and instead feels like a weak re-tread, suffering terribly from that cheap digital look that blights modern-day cinema so much. This time around another band of patriotic villagers are doing battle with an enemy and their overwhelming forces; the Burmese are the baddies here. The film features interchangeable characters, shaky-camera action sequences, an overlong running time and an overload of dull dialogue and cliched romantic moments that really drag the pacing down. The action is limited to the beginning and the end and the fights aren't the worst I've seen, although they hardly raise any kind of excitement. The film as a whole is a far cry from the quality of the first and a bit of a missed opportunity.

dantheman232 blood of the warriors sacred ground is a sequel to the hit film blood of the warriors. The story is simple a tribe of warriors are fighting to protect there homeland and moaning about how little food they have. Not that this is a bad thing for the most part the action delivers but at 122 minutes the film is too long and has too many long winded speeches by the head monk of the village, unfortunately most of the middle section of the film is just them complaining about how there tribe is growing and how there is too little food to go around. But despite that i cant say the film wasn't exciting the first two battles were fantastically brutal and very stylish but the first two battles have finished at the 45 minute mark and you have to wait an hour for the next. This wouldn't be a problem if the scrip was better, its better than your average Hollywood action film but still poor this holds the film down from delivering the dramatic punch its aiming for. The main problem is this film is about the action and it has too little to satisfy even a casual viewer. If you manage to stay awake for that hour then you are treated to a final battle which is let down by poor CGI and a rain effect that is so dense its blocks most of the screen and action. Just when i had lot all hope the film finishes with a nice battle that is perfectly styled horrendously gory but again its too short. Its a real shame because when the action is done well its on par with 300 and the characters looked great but this doesn't make up for the lack of action and boring script.
