On their way, they encounter a large, abandoned spaceship that is drifting in the orbit of a mysterious planet. They board the ship with anticipation of the great discoveries to uncover inside. Azarkant Audience Reviews

Spidersecu Don't Believe the Hype
CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
Adeel Hail Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.
Portia Hilton Blistering performances.
Horst in Translation ([email protected]) "Azarkant" is an 8-minute short film from Russia that was released back in 2013. It is the first and so far only work by Andrey Klimov, but don't worry. There is no Russian dialogue in here, just some English and it's so little that you don't even have to understand it in order to understand the film. However, there is little to understand. The film is a prime example for style over substance. The filmmaking style almost looks as if this is an animated movie. It is about a crew who enter an apparently abandoned spaceship, but the "apparently" already tells you that things are not what they seem. Acting is non-existent in here and the script also feels superficial. It is all about the atmosphere, the sets and the effects. Not enough in my opinion. It is tolerable as a first work, but beyond that, it is really only worth checking out for the most die-hard science fiction fans. Not recommended.
