Let's just put our cards on the table and state that this mystery murder thriller was most likely made on a small budget and not designed to ever be released as a major motion picture. Why? Well to begin with the key players in this thriller/mystery are basically television stars such as Lochlyn Munro, Natasha Henstridge and Miranda Frigon, all of whom had made most of their living and film career on the smaller TV screen in made for TV movies such as this one.It looks and feels like any other cookie cutter made for TV movie drama/mystery and that is what we get. You are provided with a number of potential suspects who may be guilty of harassing district attorney Genna Knowles (Miranda Frigon). When a convicted serial killer that district attorney Genna Knowles put behind bars is burned beyond recognition while making his way to court it is to no one's surprise that he may not have died but may in fact be involved in the recent murders of Genna's associates and friends while she herself is running for the vacant Mayor's position. With many real politicians you may have noticed that when they are delivering speeches, they almost always invariably have their hands and arms waving up and down so that their audience are almost unconsciously watching the continuous movement of the politicians arms and their hands and not actually paying any attention to the bull crap that is spewing out of their politicians mouth. I use this as an example because in this film both the district attorney/wannabe mayor Genna Knowles (Miranda Frigon) and the lead detective Lt. Alison Briggs (Natasha Henstridge) are the eye candy provided for the films audience to focus on and not what limited content of this thriller/mystery made for TV movie is actually delivering.I will not spoil the ending of the film for anyone, but as expected the gorgeous ladies outsmart the culprit who is responsible for the havoc being caused in the young good looking Genna Knowles life and everyone lives happily ever after ...except the perpetrator(s). As the film content leaves little to be desired I would be remiss if I tried to embellish my review with how attractive the district attorney and lieutenant were but my point is, that is why this film is hard to take very seriously as a mystery/thriller. Eye candy? Yes. / Content and substance? NoI give the film a 4 out of 10 rating

****MAJOR MAJOR SPOILERS****( Don't read unless you've seen the movie) Somewhat confusing film about a city's district attorney Genna Knowles, Miranda Frigon, on the verge of running for mayor with the outgoing Mayor Sanchez's, Randy Crower, endorsement being terrorized by one of the serial killers that she put away known as the Kaos killer Jack Myers, Dennis LaValle. The fact that Mayers was supposedly killed and his body burned beyond recognition on his way to court to be sentenced didn't raise any suspicion that he in fact was alive and faked his death that anyone watching the movie would immediately suspect. it was the MO of the killings after Myers' demise that should have alerted the police that something wasn't on the up and up and dig deeper into the background of his strange disappearance, in a flaming car accident, from the scene.Meanwhile some of Genna's friend's in the D.A's office end up getting kidnapped and murdered by this Kaos killer wannabe making her run for mayor put on hold. Not just in order to do her job in finding and catching him but in keeping herself from being murdered by him as well. It seems that everyone who's suspected of being the killer ends up becoming a victim of him eliminating the pool of suspects for Genna and the police to investigate.***MAJOR SPOILERS*** The payoff to all this turns out to be, no surprise here, the person who expected to run for and be elected mayor the sneaky and shifty eyed newly appointed police commissioner Chief Williams, Lochlyn Munro. It's Chief Williams who felt that he was overlooked for the job-as mayor-who planned to get even with Genna who set all this up. Not in only having her friends kidnapped and murdered but also bringing back to life, as if he was ever dead, the psycho killer Jack Myers to do the job for him. That's until Myers got other ideas and turned the tables on him as well as on himself in the film's bullet riddled final!
