So much average

In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.

This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

Hey Huffman, if you recognize the streets and the skyline of Pittsburgh in this movie you must be toking the Maui-wowie. The movie was filmed in Cincinnati-check the credits, and by the way, they only mention the fact that the kid has moved to Cincinnati about a million times! If you have other doubts, watch the movie again-the Krohn Conservatory in Eden Park and Riverfront Stadium might help sort things out for you. By the way, the movie is wicked awesome and I recommend it to everyone. Viva Cincinnati-and for those of you who haven't been, it's not as lame as it's made out to be in the movie. Us native Cincinnatians frequently rollerblade down "Devil's Backbone" and beat the snot out of each other on the hockey rink-it's a happening place.

I've been searching for this movie on Ebay all night. Every time it comes on TV (which isn't that often) I watch the entire thing. The hockey scenes are kind of odd, especially when Snake is skating and it sounds like a knife being sharpened, but everything else is great.Jack Black gives an awesome performance. He's funny as Auggie, especially when he is telling a little bit about himself in the class. "I like Nintendo and" Seth Green is also awesome as Wiley.....Funny movie and I personally recommend it to everyone out there!GORent or buy the movie!

There are some movies that just have no reason for existing. AIRBORNE is one of them. There is no purpose for this movie to exist. It just does. This enjoyable yet predictable teen movie is about rollerbladers in Cincinnati that race down Devil's Backbone. This is truly only good for kids. Adults will be bored to tears. There are some coller rollerblading sequences, but other than that, there isn't much to the movie. Jack Black appears in one of his earliest roles. Kids may want to Tivo this next time this movie is on the Disney Chanel. I'd give it two stars. It's not very good, but it's a harmless average kids flick. The ending racing scene is exciting and thrilling. It's the best part.

The only reason why I went to see this worthless display of bullsh*t was because my sister was an extra in the film (most of the movie was done in Cincinnati - where I live). The idiotic high school theme to the movie was incredibly bad and the acting by Jack Black and Seth Green is so bad, it's hard to imagine that they still have careers - now, 10 years later. This movie may appeal to you pre-teen and early teen girls who want to see a good "date" movie, but anyone that is expecting a high class masterpiece film, it is definitely not this one.
