Marketic It's no definitive masterpiece but it's damn close.

Odelecol Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.

Donald Seymour This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

Agent Cody Banks is the perfect blend of comedy spoof that basically makes fun of spy movies such as James Bond, True Lies and on and on. Muniz and Duff really give 2 very good perfomances plus they had a great chemistry together, the villains honor the Bond era pretty damn good and the film has some insane moments like Cody saving a kid from a car or basically the bad guys getting hit with objects just for a laugh but still not getting silly or anything. It's the kind of film that kids and parents can enjoy!!!

As for the plot: Cody Banks (Frank Muniz) is a junior CIA agent employed to get close to Natalie Connors (Hilary Duff) so that the Agency can find out more about her father, Dr. Connors (Martin Donovan).The movie teeters on spoof territory. It is clearly modeled after the James Bonds/Mission Impossible ilk of films. Although small in stature, Cody Banks has the debonair wardrobe, cutting-edge gadgets, fighting skills and even a smokin' hot car. The bad guys have the cheesy Dr. Evil style lair, a big ugly henchman, plenty of disposable goons and a megalomaniacal scheme for world domination.The movie doesn't provide any real laughs though it is apparently a comedy. The action is too clunky to take seriously and I'm sure there were no Oscar nominated performances coming from this project. There were no redeeming qualities about this movie, yet I watched the entire thing. Yikes!

mbat19 Frankie Muiniz plays a secret agent teenager trained in all the ways of being a teenager except one - talking to girls. In what sounds like a Disney movie plot, he goes on a mission involving a pretty girl of course and has to learn on the job. The movie is what it is a movie for the younger tween crowd and fans of the malcom in the middle star and fans of Hilary Duff. It is not bad and is entertaining mindless fare that you can watch with your brains off with your kids. Just don't expect anything great. Muniniz and Duff do a pretty good job with the material and it is always good to see law and order veteran Angie Harmon .

tomb_92 I didn't like this for a number of reasons. Firstly, Hilary Duff is just annoying, and even the likable Frankie Munitz becomes annoying after an hour. It's silly, not really funny, not clever, and not even that original any more so there is actually no longer any reason to watch this, other that maybe as some light-entertainment for your kids. Adults might be impressed first-time round but if you watch it twice you start to see how annoying it is. I can stand the fact that it is unbelievable, but it really is just very annoying. I didn't laugh much either. Actually I think I'd rather watch Spy Kids 2 again, and that's saying something.
