Afouotos Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.

gridoon2018 An average entry in the Eurospy genre, no more, no less. American agent 3S3 is sent to a small Caribbean island to find out what happened to his colleague 3S4 and locate a mad scientist who is conducting lethal gas experiments. His most unexpected ally proves to be the newly self-appointed dictator of the island, who is having second thoughts about the people he is working with. This general is an amusing character because the voice actor who dubbed him into English did his job very enthusiastically (my favorite line of his: "Killing a man is nothing to them. I've killed some men in my time, but when I do it, it's not casual. I do it with passion!"). Another bright spot is a villainess who is trained in bojitsu (a form of stick fighting) and teaches a harsh lesson to a guy who is rude to her. Near the end of the movie she has what is probably one of the best female fights of the 1960s against good girl (and stunner) Evi Marandi, but unfortunately it is under one minute long. On the other hand, filming the large-scale shootout of the climax in near-complete darkness was a big mistake; sure, the gimmick of the infra-red goggles is pretty cool, but most of the time the viewer can barely make out what's happening - and the poor-quality print does not help matters. ** out of 4.

A Russian agent(Frank Wolff) equally will go to the island to free the scientist . The movie is a co-production Spanish-Italian about secret agents very usual in that time of the 60s . The origin results to be the ¨James Bond¨ series that originated an authentic flood of copies, imitations and rip offs , each time more awful . The picture has action packed, suspense , tension, thriller but with lackluster and little budget . The film is fast movement besides it is developed in various scenarios though specially on the hot island . However the movie is a bit boring and there are situations and images that are ridiculous and embarrassing . In the picture appears habitual actors of co-productions : the great Fernando Sancho, Eduardo Fajardo, both of whom are players of numerous Spaghetti Western . Besides are Sal Borgese, Luis Undini, and Luz Marquez , everybody are customary actors of this kind genres . Motion picture is regularly directed by Sergio Sollima despite of directing some classic Spaghetti Western . Rating: Average but entertaining .
