jacobjohntaylor1 This movie is awful. The Addams family (1991) was awful. And this is ever worst. I do not why people like it. It is not funny. It is not a 6.6. It is a 3. The story line is awful. It is not funny, It is sick and awful, The ending is awful. It this has to be one of the worst comedy movies ever. I think comedy is just to easy an more. Was ever hard to do not know?. But people like laughing so mush that no one has work hard at it any more. No one ever says stop you have gone to fare. They just laugh. I can not laugh at something that is not funny. I can not laugh at something that is sick. Who ever wrote this has no talent.

Eric Stevenson This is a film I've always wanted to see because I grew up watching a lot of movies in the early 1990's that were remakes of old shows and cartoons. I heard this was the best of them all, even better than the original Addams Family movie. I really do like this movie if only because of the awesome casting. I really had no idea Christopher Lloyd was in so many unique roles and he's great here as Uncle Fester. The original movie was good, but I think this one truly gives us more of an ongoing story. It's great to have this movie that further expands on the characters and stories that were established in the original movie. I just love the cool costumes and atmosphere.I'm not much of an "Addams Family" fan, but this certainly got me interested. What makes this movie is Wednesday. She steals every single scene she is in. I just love her deadpan style. I love her delivery and I really do understand the weird relationship she has with the other characters and this odd romance she has with this one kid. I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff. The snarkiness of this character is so entertaining. We have such a lively cast with Raul Julia in one of his last roles as Gomez. I guess the weakest part might be the story, but with all these great characters, it's hard not to like it. And again, it's authentic to the style of the original show. ***

FilmBuff1994 Addams Family Values is a very poor movie with a brutally paced plot and a few talented cast members that could have done so much netter. The actors do their very best, with Angelica Huston, Raul Julia, Christopher Lloyd and Christina Ricci still shining in their respective roles, however, they were not enough to save this movie, which tries to hard to stand out from the first Addams family that it forgets to even tell a story. A lot of comments are far too much for a younger audience, such as Wednesday mentioning that her parents have had intercourse, or the antagonist's torture chamber, it is far too frightening for the films target audience. On the other hand, the humour is also too childish for the most part, such as the Addams new baby causing havoc and the entire camping plot, leaving nothing for adults to have a chuckle at. Loud, obnoxious and not funny, Addams Family Values is too childish for adults, and too adult for kids, better off avoiding this. The family must rescue their uncle from a new love. Best Performance: Raul Julia / Worst Performance: Joan Cusack

Dom Nickson Spoiler Alert!!! OK I will say this film needed to be a little bit more of the family rather than on Wednesday and Pugsly at camp. I thought the idea of Fester dating a murderer was actually a pretty cool idea and I thought it should of been more about that, rather than have about 65 percent of the movie about the kids going to summer camp. I thought some of the humor in this film was pretty hilarious and I like it for being a sequel. This is seriously better than that Addams Family Reunion! This one is just as dark as the original, only the original had that gem. This is sort of missing that gem where you could laugh at how crazy the whole family is rather than just the kids. I'm glad the whole cast reunited but this sequel is just mediocre and really isn't as entertaining as the original. I'll give it a fair score of 5 out of 10.
