Merolliv I really wanted to like this movie. I feel terribly cynical trashing it, and that's why I'm giving it a middling 5. Actually, I'm giving it a 5 because there were some superb performances.

Crooked Man Firstly, the photography is beautiful. The people are crazy but mostly in good ways. Although they are all from the usual stereotypical out-groups they are, at times, charming, open and interesting. Their lives aren't paraded gratuitously and it didn't feel squeamish to me. I felt something for them all.And, sorry to be tech-y, but the way the music works with the imagery is clever and affecting.I learned something and it made me think.Inspirational, sweet and deep.
