Ginger Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

jadavix "A Chinese Torture Chamber Story 2" is a superior movie in most ways to its original. The first one was an uneasy mix of sex, violence, and humour, which didn't have the guts to look at its subjects closely enough to be sexy or horrifying, and wasn't funny, either.The sequel is a heady mixture of the first two ingredients, with a fortunate absence of the latter. Whereas the first movie only really used sex and nudity as an afterthought, never treating it as sexy, this sequel takes its time with sexy asides that become erotic as a result. Further, the first showed numerous "tortures", though mostly these were played for laughs, I guess. There was nothing to make you cringe or want to look away, it was all pretty ridiculous. Well, "ACTCS2" does make you cringe, perhaps due to the lack of comedy this time around. There's a piping hot metal dildo, a boiling liquid tipped into ear canals, nipples and tongues being ripped out...While still nothing close to the more extreme CAT III offerings like "Untold Story", "A Chinese Torture Chamber Story 2" actually does what its title implies. The story is still pretty hard to follow, but nobody watches movies like these for the story, right?

ElijahCSkuggs After the unbelievably sweet original I was pretty rearin' to go to see this one. Unfortunately it didn't really mimic the original in anyway besides....the Chinese Torture. Instead it went for a more serious tone which kinda left me feeling neutral about the film the entire way through. The first one had all types of creativity and actually had some good laughs, but this one focused more on adult issues like loyalty and adultery. If you haven't seen the first, you should be absolutely fine with how this plays out. It's only after a couple days seeing the sequel am I now in that state. I was really hoping for more naked flying sex people, and people jumping out of their skin. One thing the sequel did do better than the first, because of it's new found tone, is handle sex scenes better. There are some real hot and heavy sex scenes in this one. I can easily say I enjoyed the first more, but this one delivered the goods in certain areas. Don't hesitate to check this film out if you're looking for some Chinese Torture Story action.

EVOL666 PART 2 is a little more serious and in-depth than the first one, but still along the same lines: 2 brothers and their wives (well 1 of the chicks is a "fiance", technically...) are out robbing people for their dinner, and come across this kung-fu master, who after hanging out with the family for a night, swears to be their friends and take care of them however he can. Kung-fu man goes on to become a head-honcho in the government, and the others come calling for hand-outs 6 months later. Kung-fu Prince gives the 2 brothers jobs in the government, but only does so 'cuz he wants the brothers to die so he can bang their women. Lots of torture and sex ensue, making for a fun film all-around. The sex and violence is poured on a little thicker in A Chinese TORTURE CHAMBER STORY 2, and this is a good thing. But Part 1 had some truly hilarious scenes that make these 2 films balance out. Both get equal votes in my book, and although they aren't the best example of what the HK CAT III genre has to offer, they're still worth a look... 8/10

slinker25 What more can i say , im a category III fan and this was the follow up to one of the most well known and sleazy movies of its kind! For those of you who are squeamish or offended easily then you probably shouldnt read on... This sequel is actually a whole lot better and more fun than i expected with some truly despicable torture scenes which are pure fantasy of course!!..im not that depraved!! Quite a good plot which you cant often say in these types of movies, but actually less sleaze than the original, but what it lacks in this department it sure makes up for in cruelty!...dismemberment, sodomy , horrific torture and blood a plenty flow after the 30 minute mark with some humour thrown in for good measure, one scene that really disturbed me was a flashback to a childhood abuse scenario intercut with a vicious rape with a paintbrush!!...personally i preferred the original, but this is a whole lot better than i imagined and well worth seeing if your a fan of extreme/catagory III cinema, since when is bad taste illegal?? =^,^=
